This one made me tear up :'( xx
________________________________________________________________________________
Harry POV:
"British?" I uttered "Y-You're British?! You're British and this is how I find out?! From a friend?!?!"
"Harry-" she sniffled
"No" I said
"Harry pl-"
"No!"
"Harry I can expl-!" she said
"No! I-I can't believe you! How could you hide something like this?! Where you ever going to tell me this?! Is everything a lie? What else have you lied to me about? Oh wait, EVERYTHING!" I shouted
She was quiet. Lisa stood there, her jaw wide open. Jenna could only cry, but I was too furious to wipe the tears away.
I stormed back into the house. I went straight to the beer and drank the night away. I drank Christmas away.
- - - The Next Day (5:03 AM) - - -
I creaked open the guest bedroom door. Jenna was sprawled out on her bed asleep. Her face had a sad pouty look, even though she was asleep. I pecked her on the cheek. Her mouth twitched into a quick smile, then went to expresionless. I shook her.
"Harry?" she said. Her eyes fluttered open.
"Yea" I sighed with a small smile. She starred at me momentarily, trying to think. Her eyes widened and she bolted out of bed.
"Harry! About last night I-"
"Shhhh! It's 5 in the morning! I came here to talk to you privetly. I want the truth and you're going to give it to me" I said sternly
"Can I at least brush my teeth first?" she sighed. I nodded my head and she went.
5 minutes later she came out. Her hair still a combination of a messy bun and bed hair, she was in baby blue sweat pants and a white sweatshirt with a moustace print. She sat next to me on the bed and squeezed my hand tightly. Then she told me everything.
Jenna POV:
"Okay, first of all my actual name is Jennifer Shaw. But everyone called me Jenna. Even you did..." I trailed
Harry's eyes bulged but he remained quiet
A/N: Some parts of the story will be told through flashbacks
*Jenna telling her flashback*
I knew you back in our primary days. We were friends.....Sort of.
"HAHAHAHA Jenna is such a nerd! Look she'a reading a book! She can't even play jump rope right!" laughed a group of 8-9 year olds.
Tears welled in my eyes as I took off my pink glasses to wipe my tears. I was never really "bullied" but I was teased for being smarter than my classmates. I didn't have a lot of friends back in those days. So I sat usually at a table and read.
"Go away!" I childishly wailed
They continued laughing and pointing. One boy smacked my book out of my hand and a few girls pushed me out of my seat. I scrapped my knees and cried harder.
"Let's teach her a lesson. She does like learning lessons" said a boy picking up a kinda big rock.
I was defenseless and weak. I closed my eyes waiting for the painful impact of the rock. But I didn't.
