You don't know how you got yourself into this situation but here you were, stuck god knows where in a small ass space with a dude you couldn't stand to be around for several reasons and about a inch of space to move around. The day was going good, it was maybe not good but decent, until Dante went, and fucked it up. You were out on a mission with him gathering info on a new species of demon that had been popping up. Since you weren't in any way able to fight you decided to put your skills to use in another way, well thank god you had a brain (unlike someone we know) and can fill in as the brain that the Devil May Cry business is so lacking. The job in no way pays like anything but you do get benefits, like a place to live and food so that was nice, and sexy ass peaks at the dumbass you simultaneously love yet hate when he's training, and Neros there too. Anyway back to the story of how Dante found a way (the stupidest way) to fuck things up. You were gathering info on a new species of demon when a horde unknown demons popped up and surprised you. It wouldn't have been a problem for Dante to fight but they just kept comes and for every one he killed three more popped up in there place, knowing he still had you protect he decided to make a quick decision and jump off the cliff that you had been ambushed on. He just forgot one thing, he had used up most of the energy he needed required to use his DT meaning that he couldn't just fly you out. So just before you two hit the ground he took you into his arms and used his wings and DT to guard you and break your fall.
So here you are now luckily you survived, unlucky you were stuck in some form of cave formed from the impact, there was some light from the openings in the cave, but due to a lack of space you couldn't move enough to get out. " what now dumbass?" You said dryly, which was also uncomfortable since your faces were only inches away from one another. "Hey, I'm not a dumbass, I've just had a lot of concussions" Dante pouted " plus I already have a plan on how to get out of here, we just have to wait for my DT to recharge and we'll be good to go". " How long will that take?" You asked looking up at him, fuck why is this man so beautiful yet so dumb sometimes. "I recon it'll take about two hours and 30 minutes, give or take a few minutes." "Fun" you retorted. "Hey I should have you know I can be real fun" he said smoothly giving you a wink. It took you a moment to understand what he was saying, but when you did, oh boy did your face heat up. Noticing the effect his words had on you, he added on " Hey you got somethin in your pocket or are you just happy to see me?" granted he was also just trying to distract from his erection. Feeling what was going on down there you took advantage while blushing profusely and turned the situation around a bit "I don't know Dante, how bout you?" You smirked. Dante's mind kinda started racing (shitshitshitshit) " well you like what you feel" he winked again, but he knew as soon as it came out (pun intended) it was a bad comment. You rolled your eyes " Man you're immature".
Dante always hated when you called him immature, cause according to your girl talk at breakfast, you were into the smart, mature type. Which despite being clueless, Dante was self aware, he knew he was kinda the opposite of what you looked for in man he was immature, a bit of a numbskull, in debt, a bit of a womanizer , and addicted to pizza. Granted he really was much more extra around you for attention, heck sometimes he would sleep with a random woman just to be scolded by you in the morning, which he knew was psychotic but he got to see your pretty face so to him it was a win win. In all honesty most of the women he slept with really would just be a slight break from constant heartbreak. He always knew when he fell cause he fell hard. And you were no exception, so as you lay there stuck inches apart his mind did wonder and he did get a bit ( a lot ) turned on from the close proximity. But that passing comment brought him right back to reality.
" Dante, Dante... anyone home?" You asked, he kinda snapped out of it. " oh uhh yah still here. Just thinkin that's all" he replied just noticing his day dreaming. "About what?" You replied. "Ohh uh nothin you know just my mind started to wonder" you looked down at his still erect crotch "where'd your mind start to wonder" you asked with a skeptical face, hiding how much this whole scenario was turning you on, and how fucking handsome this man was. "Not where you are thinking alright. First of all I'm only a man, so when I'm pushed up against a beautiful person like yourself, my body naturally reacts. And also I wasn't even thinking anything like that so huh, bet you feel real dumb" you made this face -_- at that last comment, then turn beet red looking back at the first one " you think I'm beautiful?" You asked " Yah, well anyone would I mean have you seen your body?" He panicked, shit what a dumb comment.
You kinda got your hopes up, so it hurt a bit when he just referenced your body. " I see, I guess I should've expected" you replied with disappointment in your voice. Dante's mind started going wild (no, shit, your more then just a hot body even tho it's hot, your smart really smart, and you smell nice, and... fuck anything woulda been better then what I said) " I mean I... anyways, how have you been looking for a new mate?" Man what a transition. " ohh, uhh not so good, ever since my ex and I broke up finding someone else who I really love has been hard" you lied ( no I love you, your dumbass is too busy parading around other women so why even bother). Although he didn't like seeing you hurt and alone Dante was pretty happy to hear he still had a chance " we'll have you tried someone a bit different from what you usually aim for, maybe someone not so up tight, I don't know. Hey do you think I'm actually immature? Or do you just say that?" The question kinda shocked you " well I think that when it comes to protecting people especially those you love you aren't, you just have a childish personality, that's all. You just need to learn to read the room. That and how not to piss people off."
He really didn't know what to say to that, he knew you were telling the truth, and that you were right. " I just wanted to know cause there's a girl I like and I kinda want to get into a serious relationship with her, but I don't know if she would like me so yah" he was in his mind practically confessing to you. But you thought that there was legit some other girl, " ohh" you said disappointed " wait it's been about two hours and you still got a boner and your DT should be good right?" He laughed that first statement through his pain "Ha you're right, now hold on real tight"
You grabbed ahold of him as he used his DT to bust you both out of wherever you were stuck. And flew around and out of the odd place you both had been researching in to begin with. With just a bit of energy left in him he was able to fly you back to the Devil May Cry. It was late and no one was there since you and Dante were the only ones that lived there constantly. When you got back it was awkward. "Anyways I'm prolly gonna wash up and rest" you broke the silence " yah me too" he said.
An hour later
You heard knocking on your bedroom door "It's me ya boi, Dante" this made you laugh "Come in" you said through giggles. He opened the door " Hey I just wanted to say, that I hope you find a guy that really makes you happy." You found his fixation on this topic odd, I mean what did he care he could get any woman he wanted, including that one he was talking about earlier, so why was he so fixated on your dating life? Come to think of it he was a bit weird today. Fuck it you thought imma tell him. I mean what did you have to lose right? " I have something to tell yo-"/"Hey something you sho-", you both spoke at the same time " Ladies first" he smiled and winked, it like his goal was to get you flustered. " Well our time together earlier had me thinking of something that I've been wanting to say, I love yo-" you were cut off by him smashing his lips into yours. But alas you need to breath so you did need to break . "What about that girl that you wanted to ask out?" You asked innocently " That was you, dumbass" insert your surprised Pikachu face here. "Ohhhhh, so you have basically been confessing in the most complicated way the whole time, got it." You said with a tint of sarcasm in your voice. " Hey I tried ok, and that's what matters" he said jokingly but he really wasn't. He kissed you again "looks like someone's back" you looked downward again toward his crotch again " Hey tease all you want know you'll be crying my name from it later" and with that statement he got a kiss and a scolding. And that is how I met your mother(jk).
