MASK 23: TOGETHER

Athira's POV.

It's been weeks since I told Cullen that I love him and I've been avoiding him since that day— I was shocked even him. The more I avoid him the more he tries to gain my attention especially that he already knows that I love him.

He's trying to be more sweet than before yet I try my best to avoid him since I'm still not sure if I want to give him my trust— if i really want to be with him. Even though, I've already told him those three words  he still tries his best not to remind me about that day knowing the fact that it might make me feel embarrassed.

I honestly don't understand myself anymore knowing the certainty that I like him. Honestly, I want to be with him yet my brain keeps telling me that it's wrong— that giving him my trust might ruin me again.

*toot toot*

The moment I felt my phone vibrated, I didn't hesitated checking it.

From: Cullen
Hey, i'm outside your condo. Go out with me:))

To: Cullen
Leave.

I was about to send my text message not until he texted again

From: Cullen
I don't take no for an answer and you do know that I'm not leaving without you.

To: Cullen
I'm not in the mood to argue with you, I'm not leaving my condo.

From: Cullen
I'm still waiting, go dress up already time is running.

He's so hard-headed! If he doesn't want to leave outside then don't— I'm still not leaving. I still don't have the courage to talk to him in the usual way knowing the fact that I told him that I love him without me knowing

From: Cullen
Actually, I'm fine with sleeping outside your door, just sharing.

Because of annoyance, I quickly went to my door and opened it without hesitating. "What the heck are you doing here? I've already told you that—" before I could finish what I was about to say, he already cut me off by saying "That'll do." and he looked at me from the bottom to the peak of my head and pulled me forcefully.

"What the actual fvck?! Let me go before I slam your head to this fvcking floor." Instead of listening nor be threatened to what I've just said, he suddenly laughed at me and replied, "No, you won't do that. Look, there's cctv everywhere. Diba, that's illegal?"

"Since when did you care about that? Stop acting like a goody good shoes." Due to irritation, I can't help myself but to roll my eyes out of nowhere.

"Ang sunget naman, hahahaha!"

Fast Forward.

"What do you want to eat? it's already lunch time so it's better we eat already. Don't be shy ako lang to." Cullen asked with his "mayabang" look

"I don't want to eat especially if i'm going to eat some sorts of food with you." After I told him this he started acting hurt which is clearly he's just over reacting

"Ouch, that kind of hurts. Ikaw ha, i'm starting to feel that you're becoming even sassier than before. Are planning to bust me out? Aray ha— wag muna di pa ako handa."

"Ta-tangina? What's got into you, why are you suddenly becoming more annoying this past few days? Are you on drugs?" After I answered him this he suddenly burst out into laughter

"Char lang, why are you so serious? Sige na, tell me already what you wanna eat. Don't worry, we're just gonna take it out."

"And then you'll take me immediately back to my condo after this and you'll leave me alone already ? Okay, I want a—" before I could finish the foods that I'm going to order he cut me off
