Just the Way You Are

Y/N's POV

I'm here at my agency waiting for my manager. He said that he has another singing project for me that is really important. I was spinning on his chair when the door suddenly opened.

"Y/N? What are you doing you might fall down." I was supposed transfer seats when he signalled me to just stay where I am.

Oh by the way I forgot to introduce myself, I'm Choi Y/N and I'm a Kpop soloist singer. My manager/producer is none other than the famous Lee Jihoon also known as Woozi.

"Sooo, what's the big project you wanted to tell me?" He sat down on the couch and flashed a big smile on his face.

"You know Kim Namjoon right? He wants you to be featured on his upcoming single for his mixtape." Wait, the Kim Namjoon?

"ARE YOU SERIOUS?! THE KIM NAMJOON WANTS A COLLABORATION WITH ME?!"

"Yup, he specifically said that he wanted you to be there by tomorrow for the writing of the song." WOAAAH I'M SO EXCITED FOR THIS I CAN'T BELIEVE I'M WRITING AND SINGING A SONG WITH HIM!

"Oh and also, you have a scheduled duet today with Lee Seokmin, he said he misses you so much." I almost forgot he asked me to join him for a vlive today.

"What time is that again?" He looked at the ipad he was holding.

"It's happening in 3 hours, let's go to his studio now." We both walked outside and went to our van. A lot of fans are waiting outside the building since me and DK already announced the collab live before hand.

"Woozi, after the live do I have any schedules?"

"No but always watch your phone, I already gave Namjoon your number and he said he'll just call you."

It has always been my dream to collaborate with BTS or atleast one of the members, I've been a big fan ever since and now it's finally coming true, my years of hard work as a trainee to debut has finally paid off.

I was supposed to sleep when my phone suddenly rang, it's probably DK.

Y/N
[Hey DK, what's up?]

Namjoon
[Is this Choi Y/N?]

I looked at Woozi shocked, it's Namjoon's voice I swear.

Namjoon
[Hello?]

I cleared my throat before responding.

Y/N
[Umm hi, yes this is Choi Y/N.]

Namjoon
[Hey I just wanted to tell you to come by tonight if that's ok?]

I checked my phone to look at the time and it's already 4 pm, the live I'm doing with DK is at 7.

Y/N
[I don't think I can make it tonight, DK already invited me to join his live at 7 pm and it might finish late.]

Namjoon
[It's ok, just send me his address and I'll have my driver pick you up from there at 9.]

Namjoon just ended the call without letting me say another word.

"So, what did Namjoon say?"

"He said he'll ask his driver to pick me up at DK's place later."

"Do you want me to come with you?"

"It's ok, maybe he wanted to talk about something." I just smiled at Woozi and leaned my head against the window.

-1 hour later-

"Y/N wake up, we're here." I slowly opened my eyes and saw a lot of fans waiting outside the building but a tall figure caught my attention, it was DK.

He opened the door and everyone immediately screamed at the sight.

"Did you just wake up?" He escorted me down the van.

"Yeah, your studio is really far from the company, and home." He just laughed and we waved at the fans before going up to his studio.

"So, what are we going to do at the live today?"

"Talk, sing a few songs, interact with the fans, eat, you know just the usual." It looks like he really planned this day.

"By the way Y/N, I have a shirt ready for you upstairs just change into it before getting your hair and make up done."

"You're not going to make me wear something embarrassing like last time would you?"

"Of course not, we'll wear matching shirts." He winked at me and I just rolled my eyes.

-fast forward-

"Okay guys before we end the live me and Y/N are gonna perform this hit song called Just the Way You Are by Bruno Mars."

He looked at me first before playing the song on his guitar.

DK put his guitar down and faced me.

"Y/N, I've been wanting to tell you this." I just looked him in the eyes because I didn't know how to respond.

He held my hands and breathe deeply and sang again.

He stopped without singing the chorus and looked deeply into my eyes. The whole world has stopped, the cameras didn't even matter.

"Y/N ever since we were in school, I could never take my eyes off you. We made a perfect duo, we studied together, ate together, we even trained together. I never had the courage to tell you this before but now I want to tell this to you in front of everyone who is watching us right now."

He pulled out a box which looks like it something you would put a necklace in. DK gave it to me so I opened it, a beautiful semicolon necklace appeared right before my eyes. There is also a note written at the cover of the box.

"You were my bestfriend, my buddy, and my classmate, but now will you be my girlfriend?"

Everyone was looking at me waiting for my answer. I looked at DK and I could tell from his eyes that he's waiting for what I will say.

I nodded at him and smiled.

"YES?!"

"Yes, I'll be your girlfriend."

"SHE SAID YEEEES, DID YOU HEAR THAT? SHE SAID YES!!!"

DK hugged me really tight and so did I.

"I love you Choi Y/N, just the way you are."

"I love you too Lee Seokmin."

And with that, we ended the live with his lips touching mine.
