This is a one-shot
______________
Can I tell you how much I hate cleaning? I mean hygiene is super important, but having to clean a room till every last speck of dust is gone? Feels super unnecessary. But I know not all feel the same way I do, well at least partly. I think most people feel the same way I do but are too scared to say it out loud. So it's my job to take the beating for them, I guess. Well, at least I thought that was a good idea until two minutes ago when I got found not doing, said cleaning.
I ran down the hall and took a sharp left not caring about the confused looks on the people's faces as I zoomed by. I burst through a door only to be greeted by more confused faces
"y/n?"
"No time, running for my life"
My eyes darted around the room until I found an open window. I took a deep breath and started to run up to it, we were on the second floor so the drop couldn't be that big. I jumped up on the ledge and pushed off it. The sun finally hit my face and slightly blinded me, the air was fresh and brisk and quickly cooled me down.
I landed with a roll and stood back up and brushed myself off, I looked back up at the window to see Connie and Sasha staring at me with pure admiration in their eyes
Sasha opened her mouth and yelled in between her giggles -
"What was that for?"
"Survival, now get back to work before Levi comes for you too."
Erens' face quickly peeked out from the window as well, sheer horror was written on his face
"You're running from captain Levi?!"
"yup-"
I was cut off abruptly by a door being slammed open, and a couple of quick footsteps coming from behind the cadets.
I wasn't sure if I wanted to laugh or freeze in fear for my life. He was standing there, hands gripping onto the ledge of the window, pure anger was the only thing in his eyes. He looked me up and down and swiftly turned back around.
This is the only head start I'll get.
I started to sprint towards Hanji who was watching some of the cadets from afar. They were cleaning the stables which I would 100% be doing for forever if I was caught now.She was holding a basket while writing in her precious notebook.
At this point, my legs were moving on their own. The sun was harshly beaming down on me which only made the running that much more annoying. I skidded to a halt right in front of her and quickly moved right to her side.
She looked up at me with a grin on her face. My heart was beating out of my chest and I could hear it in my ears. My breath was hot and labored, sweat slightly dripping down my cheek.
"Good afternoon"
"Yes, yes, is he here?"
"I have no idea who you're talking about my dear y/n"
I looked up at her face, the sun once again blinding me, I gave her a dumbfounded look, I knew she was just fucking with me but I didn't need that right now. She placed her hand on my shoulder and almost gave me an apologetic look.
Footsteps were slowly coming up behind me; they were hurried and almost completely silent. I let out a groan as I quickly turned around only for my feet to be swept from under me. I quickly rolled over on my side, moving out of the way of a foot coming down towards me. I got up on my feet again and lifted my hands over my face, I was slightly disoriented and dizzy, the heat not helping at all. I saw a pair of hands moving at me from the left, I ducked under and grabbed them. I pulled them towards me and tried to knee him in the stomach, but he dodged. I regain my composure and look him straight in his eyes
