I’m going out with Criz today, I hope he won’t forget about our bonding today… Ivan can’t go with us because his family had to go somewhere else… I’m here at the store outside their university, waiting for him. I’m sure he forgot -.- he’s already an hour late! I saw a pedicab stop in front of the store, I thought it was Criz, but instead, it was the British girl. Criz’s classmate. She’s standing alone, looking annoyed. I stood beside her
“hey” she smiled
“Jessica right?” she nodded
“are you waiting for someone?” what a stupid question Vicky! Isn’t it obvious?
“ummm… yeah, I’m waiting for Paulo and the others”
“oh, okay” I smiled
“are you waiting for someone too?”
“yeah, I’m waiting for Criz…”
“oh… by the way, what’s your relationship with him?”
“he’s my best friend”
“okay. I thought he was your boyfriend”
I looked down. I feel my face heat up
“hey! Stop blushing! Hahaha I was just joking”
I looked at her and smiled
“how’d you say that?
“ummm… because of your closeness... Who would have thought that you two are just best friends?”
Then she giggled. I smiled at her and looked at my wristwatch
“actually, he’s one and a half hour late” I pouted
“really? Well they’re late either”
A few moments later, Criz showed up. I narrowed my eyes at him
“you’re so late!” he pouted
“sorry…”
“it’s fine. If Jessica wasn’t here, I’d look stupid sitting here waiting for so long…”
“I’m really sorry, Vicky…”
“it’s okay, really…”
“no, it’s not okay, I’ll treat you then…”
Then he smiled. Oh God…
I felt my heart beat fast! What’s the meaning of this feeling?
“Vicky?”
“hey Vicky? Are you alright?”
“h-huh? Y-yeah, I’m alright…”
I smiled. I didn’t know I was dumbfounded by his smile? I shook my head
We were with Jessica for the whole day, and I just realized something
“Jessica?” she looked at me
“yeah?” she smiled
“I thought you had some places to go with your friends?”
Then she stopped, her eyes wide…
“oh my gosh! I forgot! Thank you for reminding me Vicky! I need to go! Bye Vicky! Bye Criz!”
Then she quickly ran away from us
