Philza POV:

Was the person standing there really the same? He had grown and was now taller than himself, but is it still him? The blond blue eyed kid we all know and love? Maybe, Maybe not.

~Six Years Ago~

3rd Person POV:

Tommy was starving. They hadn't eaten in at least 14 hours and Wil, Techno, and Phil were still gonna be gone for at least a week. "Ugh." He turned his head and saw Tubbo. He and Tubbo were lying in a field just outside of their house, after their failed attempt at getting food. Their 'Caretaker' had left with all the food and most of the money, Tommy and Tubbo had gone to get the emergency stash and were using it to get some food. That ran out 4 days ago. Tommy had tried to steal some tomatoes, but when they ate them they both felt sick. Tubbo tried to drink the river water, but he threw up after that. So here they were, laying in a field with empty stomachs.

Tommy sat up and looked over at Tubbo, his best friend and practically brother at this point. Tubbo, Tommy, Phil, Techno, and Wil all lived together in a house at the outskirts of a village. Behind their house was a huge and quite a dark forest. Tommy and Tubbo had been warned to never go into the forest at night. However that never stopped the two from going in there during the day and running in the field. The field separated the town and their house. The forest wrapped around the sides of the town, so the only way out was through the town and out the front. Wil, Techno, and Phil always left once every 3 or so months. They would be gone for 2 to 3 weeks at a time, however it was usually 3. So Tommy and Tubbo still had a week left before they came back.

"Hey Tubbo?" Tommy asked. "Yea Tommy?" Tubbo responded. "What if we try and steal more food?" "I mean if you want, but it might not go well." "Let's try it then." Tommy said as he stood up. He extended his hand to Tubbo and pulled him up too. They walked into town and started looking around. "Look over there Tommy!" Tubbo yelled excitedly. "What?" Tommy responded. "That man has tons of apples!" "Why don't you go and try to take some then?" Tommy asked prompting Tubbo to go. "I don't really want to steal anything, since we can just ask!" Tommy sighed and said, "Go do what you want I'll be looking around from here." Tubbo walked over to the man and started to ask. Tommy was not in fact looking around, he was watching Tubbo to see that he would be ok.

Tubbo asked the man, "May I have some apples please sir?" The man responded with, "Do you have any money?" "No sir but-" The man slapped him. Tubbo fell down as the man yelled, "HEY! If you don't have any money then get your grubby little hands away from my apples!" Tommy saw this and quickly ran over. "Tubbo! What the hell man!? Why'd you hit him!" The man then said, "I don't suppose you have any money, because if you're like him and don't have any money then get lost!" "YOU BITCH!" Tommy has no idea what it means, but it's a cool word he heard Wilbur use once before Phil told him to shut up. "LAY OFF MY BROTHER!" Tommy also usually calls Tubbo his brother because they live together and are really close. "What was that?" The man says. Tommy notes that he sounds like he's really angry. Bitch must be a really really bad word, Tommy thinks. "I called you, uh, ugly. Yeah bitch!"

The man has already dropped the crate next to Tubbo, as Tubbo is still on the ground, and starts advancing on Tommy. Tommy dodges the man's punch by stepping back - he can usually guess what people are gonna do, Phil calls it luck and Tommy says it's skill. Tommy then slides around the man and yanks Tubbo up. He then drags Tubbo around as he tries to find his way around town. Tommy has only been into town once or twice when Wil made Tommy come to help with food. That was to his disadvantage. The man kept chasing Tommy and Tubbo as they struggled to find their way out. Tommy finally found the forest and ran in, he ran around like he had almost a hundred times before. Except this time the sun was setting. The man had not gone into the forest but Tommy had gone a ways into the forest to avoid him finding them anyway.
