Chapter 1 : Always a player.

~ My First story......~

Neveah's POV / •

Entering into the girl's bathroom I stood there aimlessly before I heard sniffles from be of the stalls. Looking down and seeing a backpack carelessly set on the floor i immediately identifying it.

I had been looking for my best friend the whole lunch period. She had not shown up at our usual lunch table. I had searched the entire school and had decided to check the bathroom.

"Dani I know you are in there. Please come out." The sniffles only grew louder.

After a few minutes she came out,eyes red and puffy, her nose red from all the crying, I handed her some tissues.

"What's wrong?" I asked her curiously as she wiped her tears and disposing the tissues.

"Sh...she...ch..cheated on me. I broke up with her." She said amib sobs as more tears rolled down her cheeks.

"I'm sorry you were right. I just thought maybe we would work out."

Immediately walking towards her I hugged her as I whispered soothing words to her.

Of course I knew their relationship would not last long but I knew how much she liked her ex-girlfriend so I supported her. I knew something like this would happen, once a player always a player,but now was not the time to voice my thoughts.

I was already formulating a plan on how to get back at her. She hurt my best friend.

"Let's get to class first and we'll talk later." I said calmly. Wiping the remaining tears we walked out, though her puffy red eyes was evidence to her crying.

Dani's POV / •
        ~~

Flashback.

The lesson before  lunch had ended. I had dropped off my books at my locker and I was making my way towards my girlfriend's locker.

Making a turn to the left I gasped in shock.

My girlfriend had her tongue down another girls throat as she held her by the waist.

"Alex!" I shouted at her as tears streamed down my face.

She pulled away from the girl surprised. She opened her mouth to speak but I spoke before she could.

"We're over!" I shouted at her face before running off into the nearest bathroom and into the stall locking myself in.

She lied to me. She promised to change because she 'really liked me'. It was all a lie. Once a player always a player.

They all told me not to believe her but I was foolish enough to.

Flashback over.

Our school, similar to other schools, had social cliques: the geeks ,nerds and the populars,me and Dani being classified as just normal, we were known but not to the popular level.

The populars consisted of the jocks and cheerleaders but the Miller triplets stood out obviously because of how wealthy they were like I'm taking about billionaires.All three were players. Xander, the straight one, Alex and Jay both being gay. I pity the female population like they are complete assholes. How do people not realise that. All three had jet black hair and piercing green eyes though Xander was taller at 6'2 and muscular while Alex and Jay were both 5'7, making it seem as though Xander was their elder brother while the other two were twins. Though they did look alike.Alex,was the now ex-girlfriend to Dani.

It was now lunchtime, Jessica and I were headed for the cafeteria. Along the way Dani and Jamie joined us.

"Are you okay?" I whispered to her when I neared her.

"I'm okay." The sadness in her eyes was still evident but she still wore a smile.

After buying our food we sat at our table.

I noticed Jamie's face was swollen.

"What happened to your face?"I asked.

"Got slapped by a girl and punched by his boyfriend."

"What girl?"

"The one who seats in front of me in English class,Sasha."

"Yeah, I know her.What did you do?" Jessica asked.

"It wasn't completely my fault." He replied

"Mmmmh." Jessica hummed looking him up and down.

"What did you do?"Dani said.

"After class I followed her to her locker and pulled her in for a kiss."

"And why did you just randomly kiss her?" Jessica asked.

"I thought she'd respond back and like me." He answered.

"So she slapped you?"I asked.

"No she pushed me away. She asked me why I did that and I said I want you."

"And you thought by saying that she'd immediately jump into your arms and automatically be your girlfriend?" Jessica asked.

"It came out the wrong way. I wanted to say. I want to take you on a date.' But I panicked and it came out wrong." He replied

"I didn't even know she had a boyfriend who had seen me kiss her.So he punched a couple of times"

"She has a boyfriend. Who?"

"One of the..."

Dani tapped my thigh and mouthed to me 'They are looking'.

I glanced around the cafeteria until my eyes landed on the Millers. Both Alex and Jay were staring at us. Jessica and Jamie stopped laughing and stared at the two with us.

"Stop thinking about her. She's not worth it." I said to Dani patting her back.

Jessica and Jamie knew about her relationship with Alex but weren't okay with the idea but nevertheless supported her like me.

Just as Jessicah was about to say something we had a loud scraping of a chair. Looking back I saw Alex on top of a jock who was seated with them. Xander and Alex just watched until after sometime when the jock looked like he as about to pass out Xander grabbed Alexa off him.

Alex stormed off just as the bell rung and we headed to our classes. Heading to Biology, Dani and I separated ways with the other two who had Math. Beside the lockers opposite to our classes was Alex sucking faces with a cheerleader. My eyes snapped to Dani who was saddened by the action and walked into class face down. I followed suit to my seat next to Dani who was trying to mask her pain.

After two more classes it was time to go home. Since the lunchtime incident Dani had been awfully quiet.

We parted ways as I went home.
