Placing the last pancake on the plate I grabbed my phone to check the time. 7.45. Fifteen minutes to school and I was the only one awake and ready.

Racing up the stairs barged into my brothers room only to see my him with a naked girl. Something I was now used to.

"Xander, wake the hell up we have less than 15 minutes to school!"

"XANDER! XANDER!" I shouted loudly which woke him and the girl.

"Aarggghh!! what now." He said rubbing his eyes.

"School." With that I raced to my sister's room and barged in. The empty vodka bottle on the floor was evidence to her drinking the previous night.

"Alex wake up we have school."I gently woke her up knowing she most definitely would wake up with a hungover. Eventually she stirred fluttering her eyes open.

Leaving her to get dressed I dashed into my younger brother, Zack's bedroom. Surprisingly he was already dressed and was zipping his backpack so I left for the kitchen.

In five minutes everyone was downstairs. Grabbing a glass of water and advil I passed it to Alex for her hungover.

"Where's the girl?" I asked looking at Xander.

"Told her to go home." He replied taking about of his pancake

"Doesn't she have school?" I asked curiously.

"College girl." I simply nodded.

"Let's go." I said picking up the car keys.

We all piled in my car as I drove to school. Dropping off Zack at the middle school, I made my way towards the high school parking lot.

Xander got out and went to his friends disappearing in the school with them as I was left with Alex who had already dozed off in the backseat. Waking her up we both got out and headed inside.

Curious looks were sent our way mainly to Alex who seemed half-asleep and hair messy though still gorgeous like she's related to me she has to look good.

"Why did you drink?" I asked as we made our at to our lockers.

"Eh. Don't remember." She replied shrugging at the end.

Most classes we shared:me and Alex, me and Xander, or it was Alex and Xander leaving me alone. First lesson which was Math I had with Alex.

As soon as we entered class and sat at our usual seats in the back she slumped her head on the desk falling asleep. I on the otherhand was busy on my phone. Basically none of us were that serious in class but we still maintained good grades.

The teacher as busy scribbling on the board as students listened though most were clearly bored.

"Miller, wake your sister up." The teacher addressed me.

"She wants to sleep let her. She passes class so I don't see the problem." I answered with a shrug at the end. Shaking his head he went on other the lesson.

The bell went off signaling the end of the lesson. I woke Alex up and we headed to our next class which she had with Xander leaving me alone.

It was now lunch time and we were at our usual table. Sometimes we sat with my brother's teammates together with the cheerleaders or we sat just the three of us like today adding my brothers best friend, Tanner.

Xander and Tanner were busy in conversation. I noticed Alex was looking at a particular direction.

"What are you looking at?" I asked after a while.

"See that girl, the one with brown hair?" She gestured at their table diagonal to ours and I followed it. There were three girls and a guy. The black-haired guy was seated in next to a redhead who was left of the brunette, who was seated in away she could see as though she was deeply engrossed in their conversation. An auburn-haired girl sat to her right her back facing us.

"Yeah."I replied.

"That's my ex-girlfriend. Dani." She pointed at the brunette.

The guy said something making them laugh. Feeling our heated stares the brunette looked up. Seeing us staring at her she said something that made them all look at us as she looked down again.

The auburn girl said something to Dani patting her back as the other two continued staring.

"What are you two looking at?" Xander asked breaking our stares.

"Some girl. Alex's ex." I said munching on my fries.

"Why you looking at your ex when you dumped her?" Xander asked.

"I didn't break up with her. She broke up with me."Alex replied.

"Woah!Alexandria Miller dumped instead of the other way round. Who knew the day would come." Tanner said laughing at the end as Alex threw him an angry glare.

"Shut up." I said to him throwing some fries at him.

"Oh c'mon Alex. Finally a girl didn't like you and dumped your ass. That's gotta hurt." He said bursting into more laughter which made her even angrier.

"Lost your touch in the playing game loser."

With that Alex shot up from her chair pouncing on him making them fall altogether. The cafeteria fell silent as Alex punched the living shit out of him. Eventually Xander grabbed Alex off him.
A busted lip and blood trickling from his mouth, Tanner was helped to stand up by one of his teammates.

Before anyone could say anything Alex stormed off.

The bell went off as students rushed to their classes. Grabbing both mine and Alex's backpack I left in search of her.

Walking down the hallway I bumped into someone who dropped their books.

"Watch where your going!" I snapped looking down at her. It was the redhead who sat with Dani.

"I'm sorry." She answered picking up her books.

"Where the fuck is Alex?!" I asked myself frustratedly.

"You mean your sister? Down the hallway to the right." She said timidly.

I didn't reply as I rushed off to that direction. In the empty hallway beside the lockers was Alex sucking faces with a girl.

"Alex! We have to fucking go to class!" My shouting made her jerk away from the girl as she came to closer to me and I handed her her backpack.

"Thanks." she said to me. "See you later Natasha." She said to the girl as we walked past her.

"It's Athalia." She replied.

"What kind of name is that?" She said as but the girl was far gone down the hallway to hear us. It seemed her anger had vanished.

" Dunno but I think it's in the Bible."

"Oh."

Knocking the door not awaiting any response we entered class as students looked up and the teachers attention snapped her head towards us.

"Why are you two late?" She asked narrowing her eyes at us.

"Bathroom." Alex answered simply as we made our way to the back and sat at our seats.

Connecting my airpods to my iPad and opening my book with one hand holding a pencil making it seem as though I was listening I looked up at the teacher. Glancing at Alex, I saw she had done the same thing. Good thing we were smart since we never played attention in classes. Maybe it was the genes or something since Xander wasn't that active in class either.

The bell rung signalling the end of class.
