Ps. The art at the bottom was made by me💕 thx!)
It was a nice summer morning, a good morning to find some Ingredients.
a little girl by the age of 10 was wandering through the beach with a small canister in her hand. she was picking up small shards of Ocean glass, some sea shells - the odd shaped ones- and had taken some of the ocean water in a flask. she was also wearing what seemed to be a light robe of the color of her choosing, the hood covering her hair and her facial features.
Unbeknownst to her, her forgotten payed debt to her landlord hadn't gone unnoticed. Cardamon was on his way to the girls apartment to ask why she hadn't payed her apartment bill. She was ignoring her letters sent to her about the matter and she wasn't even outside most of the time, only going out on rare occasions. the only option cardamon could think of is to go to her and ask for her money, if she didn't have it, she'd have to be kicked out. he doesn't know her that well, sure. the only way he knew she was even there was when she just randomly dropped by just a few months ago and handed him a wad of crumpled cash that looked lie its seen better days just for her to get a single room. But, in any case he takes his job as a landlord very seriously, if it had to be done, it had to be done.
he came to the entrance of the girls door, seeing the "Closed" sign being displayed on the front door was quite odd to him. he wasn't even notified that she was selling things. when he knocked on the door, it slightly creaked open, revealing the dark living room. Cardamon let out a small sigh of irritation " she couldn't even lock her door?" He was really going to give her an ear full once he spoke with her.
the purple haired child poked his head inside of the apartment to look inside to see if she was actually there. the smell of something sweet was wafting his face immediately when he looked around inside, the smell was familiar, and when he started to distinguish what that smell was, it was the same candy he always buys to put into his sleeping mothers room. they were evenly divided by color in small jars, one thing he did know was that she was really obsessed with Jars. the Jars littered on the floor proved his point " she's horrible at cleaning. " Cardamon mumbled out to himself with his usual calm voice, he ventured deeper into the dark house.
the kitchen was a mess, the living room was a bit trashed up with bottles and Jars, the bathroom was probably the only thing that was actually decently clean. finally he made it to the last room, it was supposed to be her room, and as it turned out, the floor was covered in different sized and textured blankets, the windows were thickly covered up with an extra few blankets. the room was glowing a sea green color from a very obvious medium sized cauldron, he took in how.. pretty the room looked, there were shelves lined up on all of the walls, Jars of all kinds of shapes and sizes were placed neatly on each one, some had different colored liquid, some glowed, some didn't, some had different kinds of herbs and some were banished to the back side of the corner and wall, and the very top shelves. there were witch craft books laying everywhere along with spell books and summoning spells were one of the most common founded thing in the room. " What in the.."
The sound of a door opening and closing quite loudly made him jump slightly, tiny footsteps made a quick dash to the door as an exited girl threw off her cloak, completely ignoring the company she had. she made a mad dash to the luke-warm cauldron, she opened the flask of sea water and poured the contents inside, it caused what ever was inside to turn a lighter shade of sea green, almost sea foam green. " Ehem. " Cardamon coughed to get the girls attention, only to be snuffed out by the loud clanking of bottles being brought up against each other by the girl. she brought up some of the now crushed shells and sprinkled them into the liquid, along with one red Sea glass marble and plopped it in.
