I wandered through the halls aimlessly, just appreciating the paintings that lined the empty halls of the castle. I left dinner early in hope that a walk would clear my head. I feel awful for putting on a show like that in front of Draco to make him jealous, but in all honesty, it made me realise how attracted I am to Fred and the connection we have. It makes me feel almost guilty about spending so much time with Draco and barely any with him. But he has been so busy the past couple of weeks that he hasn't had time. I can't wait for Saturday yet I have a gut feeling that something awful is going to happen. I start to head towards the common room to relax a little before I go to see Draco. A cold breeze began to swirl around the castle, winter was just starting to creep in leaving the castle colder than ever. Hogwarts never lost its homely feel though, the cold circulated just made me appreciate the warm spots of the castle. The common room always made me feel at home, my favourite part of the day is sitting with Harry, Ron, Hermione, Ginny, Neville and the others in the evening after dinner sharing stories and cuddling up around the fire. The laughter and love that surrounded me filled an emptiness inside me that had never been filled before. The same way dancing around the room of requirement with Draco made me feel and watching the stars with Fred in the Astronomy Tower made me feel.
I pulled my rodes tighter around my body to block out some of the cold. I heard footsteps flooding the halls followed by loud chatter indicating that the feast was over. I continued to the Gryffindor tower to change. I felt an arm wrap around my shoulder, the smell of cinnamon made me smile. Fred. "Are you cold darling?" he questioned, pulling me into his side. His warmth spread across my body. I nodded dropping my head to hide my blush and stupid grin. "Come on let's go get warm by the fire." He smiled, pulling me towards the common room. We practically ran to the common room, nearly falling off one of the moving staircases. We burst through the portrait in a fit of giggles. Both of us flopping down onto the sofa. The fire was already lit giving the room a hearty glow. "So are you excited for the match on Saturday?" he asked, pulling me so my back lay against his chest, nuzzling into my neck. The proximity made butterflies erupt in my stomach. However, the mention of the match filled me with dread. From what I've heard every quidditch match between Slytherin and Gryffindor ends with someone getting hurt. Knowing my luck it will be Fred or Draco or even Harry. "Nervous," I muttered, running my fingertips over his hand. His silence caused me to worry. I looked up, my eyes meeting his. The corners of his eyes were crinkled as a smile graced his beautiful face. His eyes glistened in the firelight.
"Is someone worried about me?" He whispered, joy evident in his voice. I giggled when he wiggled his eyebrows and sent me a wink. "Maybe," I laughed nudging his side. "Ouch," he whimpered pretending to be hurt and clutching his side. "Oh stop whining you," I spoke sitting up and grabbing a book off the shelf. I lay back placing my head on Fred's lap and flopping my legs over the edge of the sofa to warm my feet by the fire. Fred sighed contently and began to play with my hair gently. I felt so at home and so content with him everything else seemed to drip away. It felt as if we were sat five years from now in our own house just being happy without a care in the world.
The hours passed and the rest of the Gryffindors were asleep when we finally decided to retreat to our dorms. However, in the back of my mind, I knew I wouldn't be in there for very long. Malfoy was waiting for me. As much as I didn't want to go, the thought of him sat there in the room alone hurt my heart. Yet the thought of Fred finding out that I went even after spending the perfect evening with him upset me further. I had to go, I couldn't upset Draco.
Fred walked me to my dorm, kissed my forehead and retreated to his room. "Good night Beautiful," He waved before disappearing towards the Boy's dorm. I entered the girl's dorm and found all my friends asleep. I quickly changed into an old Beatles t-shirt and a pair of fluffy pyjama bottoms and wrapped myself in a dressing gown. Don't judge it's cold. I grabbed my wand and headed out of the common room. How I plan on not getting caught I don't know but oh well. I managed not to wake the fat Lady, luckily she's had a few glasses of wine. I tip-toed along the corridor hoping I don't bump into Filch and Mrs Norris. I managed to make it to the Room of requirement with only a few minor scares, one of those being falling down the stairs because I'm a clumsy bitch. The door appeared and I stepped inside, the room was different to usual, it felt colder almost like something was missing. The fire and candles weren't yet lit and there was no sign of Draco. I sighed and wandered over to the fire, using a simple spell the room lit up, the fire taking the edge off the room. I browsed through the record selection and decided on some simple classical music. I placed the record on the player when I felt a hand wrap around my waist and the other around my neck tightly. I was pulled flush against Draco. "How dare you make me look a fool!" He growled into my neck. Shivers run down my spine and I involuntarily let out a small moan. I felt him smirk against my skin. I reached a hand up to grab onto him but before I reached his hair, the hand that had been around my waist was now around my wrist. He had one of my hands behind my back. He proceeded to bend me over the record player. Okay, so this is happening. Heaven or Hell? Pick now Jules or forever hold your peace. "Now you're going to pay." He whispered pressing his hips against my behind.
To Hell we go.
