CHAPTER TWO
Sex Partners

Jeongguk kept missing the ball.

There was nothing more frustrating than when a ball going ninety miles per hour slips past the fucking bat when it was so close getting a perfect hit.

Usually he was good at this.

No, he was always good at baseball. He played the sport since he was in city league as a twelve year old. But for some reason today specifically, his skills decided to pull an uno reverse card, and turn him into a complete poser. Seriously. He looked like one of those people who say they can play, but once they step on the field, you notice they aren't even holding the fucking bat correctly.

"You really need to chill out a bit, brother." Mingyu, one of the most talented pitcher's in the team had spoke, hands warming up the ball he was just about getting ready to pitch towards Jeongguk.

"You seriously look like you're going to pop a vain any second now."

"Fuck off." Jeongguk gritted his teeth, tapping the cinnamon colored sand with his bat twice before holding it back up in a ready-to-swing batter position. "Pitch the ball, shitface."

Taking his cap off for a quick second to push his falling hair back, a snort bursted from Mingyu's nose. "Y'know, you'd be really sexy if you said please." He joked.

Jeongguk wasn't having it though. "Pitch the damn ball." He spat out again, eyes piercing through the other far across from him with the white ball rolling around his fingers. He swore if Mingyu didn't pitch the ball any sooner, he would eventually use his head as the ball.

"Whatever you want, princess." Mingyu teased, one of his legs contracting up as he leaned back to gain all the momentum he could get before his dominant hand sent the ball flying Jeongguk's way.

And for god sake, Jeongguk missed again.

Jeongguk angrily slammed his cap on the floor. He had nobody to blame but himself for every single miss, but he refused to blame himself. As a captain he's 'never wrong.'

So he blamed Mingyu for fucked up pitches.

Eunwoo, the team's very talented third baseman, dropped the water bottles he was carrying over, and quickly ran over to the other two boy's once he had noticed Jeongguk intensely holding the bat up to Mingyu's chest.

This isn't the first time Eunwoo had broken a fight up between the two. Jeongguk never fails to start something with the other despite nothing being anyone's fault. If he had to be honest, it's mainly because Jeongguk has a lot of shit on his mind, and loves to take his anger out on others, or he just simply doesn't get his way.

Right now, it was a little bit of both.

"Coach would be disappointed if he saw this." Snatching the bat away and throwing it on the floor far from where they all were standing, Eunwoo looked at both of them in the eyes.

Mingyu scoffed. "Hit or Miss over here is threatening to rip my limbs off because he can't aim right."

"That's very un-captain of you." He added on, teasingly with a smirk that Jeongguk immediately wanted to rip off his face.
