"Morning" we both said to each other, we went through the same routine as always, changed and went up to breakfast, only today was different

You see, I've had people tell me Draco uses those horrible slurs but I've never seen nor heard him therefore I don't believe it, today though....

I saw my dad wave me over "I'll be right back" i said, Draco nodded and kissed my head, i left and left but got stopped

"Umm can you please let me through?" I asked nicely "I'm Dean, Dean Thomas" he said with a smile "ok? Can i get through?" I asked

"Well, a lot of us want you to see Malfoy for who he really is" he said and led me secretly to where everyone else was

"Just admit it Malfoy, you want to call us all names but won't because your precious girlfriend is with you all the time" Hermione said

"No, and she's not my girlfriend, she just makes me happy" he said in more of a mumble at the last part, i smiled "what do you lot want? I would like to go to the common room"

"What? You want me to call you a mud-blood, is that what you want? Do you want me to call you a blood-traitor?"

"Whoops, slipped your tongue" Dean said cunningly and revealed me with tears in my eyes "Ly" he started and walked to me, i stepped back

"Ly just listen to me" he said and i could hear the regret in his voice "no just- just leave me alone!" I yelled and ran to my uncle's classroom

I nearly opened the door and fell on my knees in tears, my uncle obviously heard and quickly dismissed class, everyone walked around me and my uncle came and hugged me

"What happened?" He asked standing me up, i collapsed in his hands "Lyra!" I heard Draco's voice and i went behind my uncle

As soon as he walked in my dad looked at him w such hate and anger "Lyra, you were there, you heard what i said" he said, i looked at him and saw tears falling from his eyes

I felt pain knowing he doesn't cry "you didn't have to say it!" I yelled at him with tears falling and me sobbing

A lot of people came in saying things like 'I didn't know Malfoy could cry' 'didn't think Malfoy could love' 'i thought he was emotionless'

And no matter how mad i was right now i was boiling with anger from their comments, i went up to a girl who said something that really made me boil

She said "i bet it's an act to get people to like him, i bet she's just like him, he can't have emotions, he's a Malfoy"

I punched her nose "he can have emotions you bloody bitch! And he does, he's a person just like all of us! And no I'm not like him, we are two completely different people" i said harshly

She slapped me across the face and i felt my uncle's arms hold me back, only he knew what i was really capable of, i calmed down and Draco hugged me, I didn't hug back

"I'm still mad, but, i know you for who you really are, I couldn't just ignore those comments" i said, he frowned at me and hung his head low

Hermione

It's been a month and Lyra and Malfoy haven't talked at all, she spends a lot of time with us now and Malfoy doesn't talk at all, Lyra barely talks at all and they're both miserable without each other

I'm worried, Malfoy hasn't insulted anyone for a whole month, Lyra hasn't smiled and both their grades have dropped incredibly without each other

Malfoy hasn't even made one comment about any classes, and hasn't complained about anything all month, Lyra has stopped eating, i think Malfoy has too

"I'm worried, Lyra hasn't spoken to anyone, not even family" I said "Hermione she's right next to you" Ron said "i know Ron, she can't hear us, she's day dreaming" i said and waved my hand in front of her face

I moved her and she snapped out of it "what?" She asked, i gasped at the sound of her voice, it was raspy, dry, like she couldn't breathe properly

"W-we have classes" i said, she nodded and stood up, she immediately collapsed and a lot of a people gasped and surrounded her

"Lyra" i said, she merely moaned and passed out, Harry carried her and we rushed to the hospital wing, Madame Pomfrey took care of her while we waited anxiously, then kids came with Malfoy in hand also passed out

We were all waiting but got told to leave due to classes and both of them being ill, we had a free period so we all went to visit her

"Lyra" i said in relief to see her eating, i felt someone glaring at me so i turned and saw Malfoy, he waved me over

"What?" I asked "i hope you're happy" he said harshly "what?" I asked confused "the only reason that she is in here is because of you and your little plan" he said and i knew he was right

I backed away from him and ran out with tears, i looked back to see Lyra but only saw Malfoy, he wasn't happy about me crying, he had an expression nobody could read

I kept running and ran into someone "sorry" they said "oh Hermione, what happened?" They asked "it's all my fault she's in the hospital wing" i said and they hugged me

"Why would you think that?" "Because, it was my stupid idea to try and get her to see who Malfoy really was, but it all went wrong because i could tel he really didn't want to say it, i mean Malfoy cried for Merlin's sake"

"Ok i see why you think that, but it isn't entirely your fault, we all agreed to it" they said, i smiled and hugged them "thanks" i said, they nodded and i went back to the hospital wing

"They started talking again" Harry said and pointed to them, i saw her pearly white teeth through her huge smile, i could hear her laughter again and it was like her skin was bright again

Lyra

Me and Draco started talking again, which i might say I'm very happy about, we laughed again and i smiled again

After a couple hours of being in the hospital wing we were able to go back to the common room, so as we use to we went shoulder to shoulder to the rooms

We walked in and sat on the couch, i missed him so much, i placed my head on his lap and played with his rings

He laughed at me and i pouted, he chuckled again and kissed my head "i missed you" he said softly "me too" i said and continued playing with his rings

We were back to normal, we laughed and talked and messed around until we fell asleep in each others arms

We woke up and did our normal routines and went to breakfast, i sat next to him of course and we talked and laughed and almost started throwing food at each other
