The Infection Pt. 2 (George x Reader)

No....... it can't be....

Pony leaned against a tree. Y/N asked. "This is where they took Zizzy. Have you ever been here before?" Pony shook his head. "No. Not that I remember." They walked closer. "Be careful Y/N. There are a lot of guards. Soon enough, Y/N got the exit open. 

Zizzy kicked an infected. She looked up at the doorway and saw Pony and Y/N. "Pony! Y/N! It's so nice to see you again!" Pony was glad she was fine. "Zizzy! I'm so relieved to hear your alright!" They all nodded. "We should get out of here." Zizzy then said "Ah, hang on I think I pulled a muscle." There on her arm was a scratch. Pony was shocked. 

"That's not..... that's not from an infected is it?" "You two need to leave." Pony was blinking back tears. "We're not going anywhere without you Zizzy. We can get you help!" Zizzy sighed. "What help Pony?" 

"We can find a cure we can save you!" Now tears were falling down his face. Even Y/N was tearing up. "If there was a cure, we wouldn't even be here Pony. You don't want to see me turn into one of them, so go." Zizzy was blinking back black tears. "I'll create a distraction, so you can escape." 

"Zizzy..." Pony lunged forward and kissed her. (Plot twist :D) They were like this for a few seconds. "Goodbye Zizzy...". Y/N felt a few tears fall down their face. "Take care Zizzy." "Good luck you two. I'll miss you." 

Pony and Y/N started walking toward the exit. Y/N had their arm around Pony, who was sobbing uncontrollably. 

When they got back to the Safe Place, everybody was silent. Pony disappeared. Y/N ran to George and sobbed into his chest. George hugged back. He was so confused. 

The greatest warrior of them all has fallen.
