Home Ecnomics: Cooking Class
"Okay class, today you will be cooking or baking. Ask me if you have some questions, and I hope wala na akong maaamoy na nasusunog, o may malalamang may nasirang stove na naman." Then she gave me a glare.
'That witch!'
"Sooo~~ What will you do?" I asked JV while he's busy putting out the ingredients.
"It's not what I will do. It's what you will do." He smirked.
"Excuse me?" I raised a brow.
"Just because 'hindi' ka marunong magluto, doesn't mean na wala ka nang gagawin." He said while washing the mixing bowl.
"Okay fine, so what will I do?"
"First we need to have 2 cups of sugar, 1 3/4 cups of flour, 3/4 cup of cocoa, 1 1/2 tsp of -----"
"Woah woah, would you slow down? I can't memorize all of what you just said." I nearly shouted at him. He sighed.
"Here's the list, just follow what it says" He rolled his eyes then handed me the list of ingredients. I bit my lip. To be honest, I never tried baking before, so I don't know how to measure the exact amount.
'Okay, I can do this'. I grabbed the bag of sugar and poured it in a cup.
"Aah~" Nabuhos ang sugar at kumalat sa table. I heard JV sigh again.
He raised his brow.
"Of course I do, I just don't know how to measure exactly." I frowned. He grabbed the bag of sugar and my hand, and showed me how to pour it slowly.
'Okay~~~ This is awkward. I can really smell his scent now.'
"Do you get it?" I just gave him a quick nod then he let my hand go. I started measuring the sugar and mixed it with water.
"Nag nod ka nga, but look what you did" Sabi nya then nakatingin naman ako sa ginawa ko, what the- why did it turn out like this? Sugar and water? Seriously Tori?
"Ahhh~" Binuhos ko kaagad ang bowl sa sink. Okay... focus Tori. I glared at JV who's now laughing.
"You know, if you can't do it just tell me." He said while wiping a tear.
"Of course I can do it." I said, grabbing a clean bowl. I added sugar, flour, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda, salt, eggs, milk, oil and vanilla extract, just like what it says on the list. Now it's time to mix. I searched for the mixer but I couldn't find it.
"What are you looking for?" JV suddenly spoke behind me.
"The mixer. I need to mix this." I pointed the bowl.
"I don't think we have that here." I raised a brow.
"Excuse me? The school have hundred thousands of money or more but can't afford a mixer?"
"Well instead of complaining, why don't you just do it manually?" I groaned. If only he isn't useful in this, I would've punched his face right now.
JV's POV
I tried not to laugh when I heard Victoria groan. The truth is, meron talagang mixer dito sa school, hinahanap lang niya sa maling drawer. Oh well, sometimes it feels so good to see the person you hate having a hard time.
"What are you doing?" I turned around to see Brylle.
"Just giving her a revenge." I smirked.
