You wake up with a pitch dark background surrounding you. You start to look around with curiosity, as any normal human would do. You glance at your hands and body to check if they are in any way injured, or bruised. Nothing. Thank goodness. But there was a mild headache. What's up with that? You start to get up, but soon realize that you were out of energy and cannot move your legs. What? But then you begin to notice something a bit stranger happening.

If the place that I'm in is dark, then how can I see my hands and body so clearly?

That was a perplexing thought. You start to gather your loose thoughts. Your legs cannot move, you have a headache, and you can see yourself, despite being in a completely dark place. You begin to come up with situations where you could get yourself in this position. Were you in a car crash? Perhaps a fight, and the opponent broke your legs and knocked you out? Maybe you were just dreaming, and this was not real. Either way, you swatted those thoughts out of your mind and thought of only one thing.

How can I get out?

How can you get out? You cannot move. How can you escape, if you cannot move your legs? Trains of thought begin circling your head. So much, that it is affecting your headache, making it even worse. Maybe you can force your legs to move? Nothing. Maybe you can pick up your legs? Useless. Maybe, you think to yourself, maybe you can perhaps slither like a snake, and crawl out this abyss? That was a solution. And you immediately begin doing so. You squeezed your last bit of energy into your arms, and push forward on the ground. And as you did, you fell. Face first, towards the never ending, pitch dark, black as a rotten apple abyss. What to do now? There doesn't seem to be an end. This has to be a dream right? You shut your eyes. It does not even feel like you are falling. There's no wind. It feels like you are being suspended in the air. So after some time closing your eyes, you decide it should be time to open them. And as you do, you quickly begin to notice that there are white petals joining you in the fall. White petals? What's up with that?

Thump

What? Uh, what's going on? You get a feeling that there might be something near you. Without hesitant, you turn your head around to see the problem. But there was nothing? Huh, how bizarre. But that wasn't it. No. There has to be much more to come. This wasn't even the beginning.

(author's note: lol sorry to ruin the mood i mean this is a short story so like it is gonna end sometime soon.)
