A Short Story

Chapter 5

After all that craziness, this felt a lot better. You walked though the blades of the fan to arrive at this place. It was definitely different than all the other places you've been at. You decided to take a look at the new scenery laid out before you. It's like you are standing on a 2D surface. You've shrunk, and you're standing on a really big piece of paper. The sky and surrounding is white and the only thing you can see is the floor which is like the world. It's like the top view of a room. It's like that. Kinda trippy like the last one. Is this a repeating thing now? Trippy places? Oh well. But you're looking at a colorful room with vibrant pink and yellow curtains, purple and pale green walls, a dark green and tan brown ceiling, contrasting blue and red flooring, and a lot of very colorful furniture littered all around the room. It kinda hurts your eyes. So you rub them. The moment you come to, the whole place was wrecked. Well that was fast. 0-100 real quick. It seems like there are deep scratches along the walls, and- oh no. The colorful furniture have been dipped grey. How sad. Only a few spots of color are left on the vases, sofa, flowers, and rug. Then you notice something you hadn't before. The were a single teapot. Sitting on the floor. Still really colorful. Painted with a bright and pastel rainbow, you can't believe you hadn't noticed it before. There was a bizarre arrow point to the teapot, like it was telling you to go toward the beautiful teapot. Uh. Well you have no choice. You looked behind you and see a black hole rushing towards you. What the literal heck. This is insane. This is crazy. This is literally something not even a crazy person would see. With no hesitation, you rushed towards the teapot. Please oh please let it take you somewhere, you were pleading. Well. Your wish was granted.

The world flipped. 360 degrees. No. More than 360 degrees. 540, 720, 1080, and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and gosh when will it ever stop?!?!!? Just stop already goshdangit!!

Wow. Wishes are being grant alright. It had definitely stopped spinning. You looked behind you. There was no black hole swallowing up the world anymore. Ay that's good. Surprisingly, you did not throw up and vomit rainbows over the grey rug. The beautiful teapot was broken now, and there happened to be  something inside the teapot. Perhaps it's the genie granting your wishes? Dang, you should've wished to get out of here then. What a waste of a golden opportunity. But it wasn't a thick blue wisp of smoke coming out of the teapot, it was a button. What. Can you click it? You make an attempt to touch the button by leaning down, but find no success.  How are you going to click that button? You looked around. There wasn't anything else besides this room. Certainly, if you were to walk around, you would get lost and lose yet another opportunity. So you decided to make a big brain move. You jumped. Wow! That worked! You pushed up and fell into the room. Now you are in the room. Not 2D, but 3D! Hooray! Now you will proceed to click the button. But as soon as you do, ding dong.

What. You looked at the giant yellow door to your right. The eye hole on the door seemed to be huge and an eye ball looked through the hole. 👁️ Well how strange. You see the eye look back and forth, like it's looking for something. Then the pupil locks onto you. You make eye contact for a few seconds, then they left. It gives you a weird feeling. Just like the one that you felt before. A few moments later you felt eyes. Watching you from every corner. It's like that dude at the door invited his friends over to come stare at you. 👀👀👀👀👀👀👀👀👀👀👀 How chilling!

You decide to press the button before it was too late. But maybe it was already too late.
