This is Kageyama's POV cuz why tf not
I stared down at the head of messy ember hair on my lap. Hinata was slowly ripping up a peice of grass and letting the shreds land on his rising and falling chest. I was sitting with my legs crossed and Hinata faced looking up at the sky while he rested on me. Maybe at one point I would have been embarrassed. But this felt normal somehow. Finally I heard the tone of his soft voice speak up. "I'm living with a foster parent." There's no way. "I never met my dad and now he wants to meet me." How though? I thought he was just feeling annoyed because he wasn't progressing enough in volleyball or something. This is more serious then I thought. "I don't know what to do..." Suddenly I gasped. My eyes slowly widened. Why had no one done something sooner? I knew he was spacing out alot but he's always so happy. But even when he wasn't smiling we assumed that he was okay because that's just the way he is. I'm sure that everyone else thought the worst thing that could've happened was someone picking on him at school. "Well do you want to meet him?" I asked trying my hardest to sound sure of myself. "More than anything. But what would I say? 'Hi! I'm your son you abandoned 12 years ago! Do you recognize me?' " Hinata said in a sarcastic tone. "Well... you could try asking where he's been. Or telling him how your life was after he left." The smaller boy let out a sigh. "Since when did you get good at giving life advice Bakayama." He spoke about this stuff so casually. I had no idea where my confidence and advice was coming from right now but it sure didn't sound like me. It wasn't that strange how I assumed he had a loving home. How could someone so cheerful and sunny not have one. I'm sure his gaurdian takes good care of him though. "Have you told your foster parent or sister yet?" I noticed how he flinched at those words. "..." His eyes were a bit glossy. "I'll take that as a no. But... you should. Your family can help." His nose scrunched up in disgust. "What? I thought you and your sister got along." The spiker just nodded his head and sat from in my lap. "Thanks for talking to me Kageyama." My lips unwillingly curled at this. "Well I never would have expected this. I thought you were upset about something with volleyball or someone teased you for being short." Hinata pouted. "I can grow you know!" He retaliated back with. "Sure. Whatever you need to tell yourself to help you sleep at night."
This was so fluffy-
