Now your probably wondering why I don't have school on a normal school day.
Because I have to see the doctor, I'm a FTM transgender. This means a boy trapped in a girls body.
I told Katie and Justin but they didn't seem to happy and have no clue what to do. At least they're willing to take me to the doctor.
"Amber are you ready?" Katie asked
"Yeah ready to go!" I said
We drove to the doctor, I signed in and went to the waiting room
"Miss Alvarez" the doctor called.
We shook hands and walked into his office.
"After all the test and conversations we had" the doctor paused and looked at Katie.
"We decided that you can go into surgery" the doctor said.
"Yessss" I said I'm so happy.
Katie smiled I could see the problems in her eyes.
"We send you a letter with the data, location and price" the doctor told us.
We drove back home and I went to my room.
Justin called me down, he wanted to talk.
"I heard you can get the operation" Justin said
"Yes" I said
"Did you think about the cost they it will bring with you." Justin asked
"I thought about it but..." I said until Justin cut me off
"I think you didn't" Justin said
"I just got the letter and you have to go all the way to Los Angeles to get the operation" Justin said handing me the letter.
"Oooh" was the only thing I could say.
"We can only get you to L.A. The rest is your problem" Justin said
He knew how much it meant to me.
"Thank you so much" I said hugging Katie and Justin
