My phone rings, the alarm going off in loops. it's been going off for about 3 minutes but I've been lost in my thought. I pick up the phone, shocked to see I missed 3 calls from Elijah and 2 voicemails. he must be worried. I thought to myself as the phone rang while I called him back. "Hey Y/N, you okay?" He asked, worried just as I thought. Still lost in thought I replied with "mhm" quietly. "Y/N, speak up. I asked if you were okay." you could almost see his stern face through the phone. Finally snapping out of it, I quickly responded with "Sorry, yeah I'm okay, I was in the bathroom." I lied on the spot. "oh okay, I was calling to hear your voice, Wyoming is boringggg." "Stop whining Lije, you at least get to travel. I'm stuck at home doing my idiotic schoolwor-" I got cut off by my phone dying. UGH. I threw my phone across the room onto my bed. I grab my phone and plug it in to charge and go grab some water from downstairs.
15 minutes later
I come back from the kitchen with a glass of lukewarm water and pick up my phone to text Denis.
Me: Hey DinDin, you having fun with Lije, Corl, and Alex in Wyoming?
Tall Maple Boy: Ofc! Hey, why'd you hang up on skek?
Me: My phone died, can you tell him I say sorry? I don't want my phone to die again so I'll call him again in about an hour
