Author's P.O.V.
"Did you get the info?"
"Yes, Fearless. Now where's my payment?"
"No need to be fussy, Sweetheart. Ghost, if you please."
Ghost steps up to the girl and hands her a suitcase. She takes a look at it and is quiet for a few minutes, then looks up at the four mutants. "Enjoy your search, but let me tell you, it wasn't easy to find much on her, so I doubt you'll do much trying to find her."
"Oh trust me, we'll get her."
"Whatever." And with that, she left, leaving the brothers to stare at the single piece of paper of the girl they met only a few months ago.
"Ya think she'll even corporate if we do find her again, Swift?" M.C asked.
"Sure we will. We just gotta go slow is all." Swift smirked.
The turtles weren't as lucky as they thought, and it was hard to find any information on the mystery girl, but they got some things down thanks to their messenger girl, or street rat, Sarah. The girl's name is named Elijah Diamond Black, nineteen, and unknown family and/or friends.
The guys were surprised. They've never met anyone with as little information as she did. But that didn't stop them from trying to search for her again. That girl, Elijah, was incredibly strong, and fast, too, and not to mention that she was able to actually know that the turtles were only 10 feet away without even looking the night they met. Now that was crazy.
"This damn piece of shit doesn't help at all." M.C scowled.
"Not exactly, little bro. We got her name right?" Swift asked.
"I guess, but still."
"Then we're good. And I know just the person who can help us with this mystery girl."
Elijah's P.O.V.
"You got it?"
"Yeah, you?"
"Yep."
Me and a Purple Dragon member switch objects and then shake hands. "Pleasure doing business with you."
"Sure. See you next month."
And with that, we go our separate ways.
I leave the alleyway and down the dark street. It was cold, knowing it was dark out and in the mid-October month, especially since I only had on a pair of jeans and a crop-top shirt. I rub both my arms to try and warm myself up, quickening my steps to get back to T.G.R.I.
I grab my phone from my pocket and notice that it was only ten o'clock at night, and I was supposed to end my delivery at midnight, but since I wasn't being harassed by anyone, I had extra time on my hands, I was even passing by the street my friend lives on. With that thought, I hurry to send him a quick text to let him know I'm coming by and run to find his house, trying to get out of this fucking cold as soon as I could.
I find his house and notice that his lights were still on in his bedroom, making me happy to know that he got my text and even left his window open for me. I run as fast as I could and ran up the tree next to his window and jump through the open windowsill. As soon as I barge in, the door opens and in came my childhood friend, Jett Wynter. "Elijah? What are you doing here? I don't want my uncle seeing you here." Jett says, hurrying to close and lock his door, then moving across his room to sit on his bed. I follow suit on a random stool.
"Didn't you get my text?" I say, hunching over to rest my elbows on my knees. Jett and I have been friends since we were kids. He used to be apart of a circus that his parents owned, I snuck in to watch the show and right before it was his turn to do tricks, he found me in the back. He was startled at first but when he learned I couldn't afford to get in and never seen a circus before, we hit it off immediately. He also has a twin sister, Lyvia, who is currently studying Law at NYU.
