Emily Jane is scurrying around through the woods🌲🌳🌳🌲, unknown to man. These are the cursed woods🌲🌳🌳🌲 where no one goes, eerie, dark, illuminated only by the moon🌕 above the canopy of trees. No one knows their way through the woods🌲🌳🌳🌲, although, the local families haven't changed at all over the past two decades. Emily is exploring around here, hoping to find her brother, whom she last saw being dragged into this ill-fated forest🌲🌳🌳🌲.
The sun⛅ rose, but it still was a dreary Monday morning and Emily was shovelling her way towards her boarding school. Yes, she lived too near to her boarding school🏫. So basically it was like a normal school🏫 excluding the boring hostel talks which has nothing to do with her life. "My life!" She thought,
"A monotonous routine of going to school everyday except Sunday and getting culinary🍴 lessons on my 'one free day'."Miss Gwayne was compelled to go to school🏫, she was not allowed a sick leave ever. She wished she could call in sick and try to go find her dear brother, though he was good for nothing other than sleeping and eating every edible thing in sight.
"He is going on the wrong side of the bridge, my brother, my dear brother shouldn't be spending so much time with that so called father of his. The enemy, his father is trying to get him on his side! My brother is my whole world🌏, he is so precious to me, I love every little thing he does. I can't seem to appreciate everything for the fear of inflating his ego, but he should understand and feel my love❣️!" She pondered. She couldn't seem to understand how she and her brother can be so apart in nature. While she loved working and making the most of her time, he took pride in doing nothing and lazing around.
Books📚 are precious and by reading and studying them they instill in the reader and student their preciousness. This, her dear brother, not for his life, could comprehend. He never touched books📚, neither did any work which would result in a satisfactory output. Either of these, if he took upon himself to do, would be a relief to everyone around him.
The butler took Emily back into her tiny firelit room🛋️, which was furnished by a desk with an official book📔 for her work related entries, you may have guessed right? She was a child prodigy afterall. Then she proceeded to think that she could be far more educated than what her job as a new startup entrepreneur needed, but she had ruined her chance at some higher quality job and now it was too late to find a better one... Yes that's how young Emily was, she pondered and thought and contemplated. Her philosophical side was overpowering. But just as fast her pessimistic nature would allow her thoughts to run in that direction, she thought positively once in a while too. She tried hard everyday to not get lost in her train🚃 of thoughts. She had to come out of the negativity of her mind.
Most of the times het father took them (her brother and herself) to school. It was their trademark of being late or just dot on time, they were never early. They narrowly missed the detention every month, the rule being if a student is late thrice to school then he/she must stay in the school hall for the first four classes. So naturally this habit continued even when they went to school by themselves, her father gave Robert more money for catching a bus🚍 to school 🏫 and on the way home🏡 - than her sister as he was the eldest and Mr.Gwayne deemed him more responsible than Emily Jane. That's where she didn't like her father the most, he ignored all shortcomings of her brother! Never once spoke to him harshly in front of her, though she was preferably scolded fiercely at the smallest slip up she made. In the monsoon🌧️, no bus🚍 driver would let them sit in his bus🚍 as are the customs of Edinburgh's bus🚍 drivers. So having no other option they had to take the slippery, partly icy road🛣️, and their aforementioned habit did not help them much in reaching the school on time. Rarely, when the bus🚍 driver was kind enough to let them inside, just imagine being in that bone rattling bus🚍, soaked to the skin, despite wearing a raincoat, having being squeezed amidst hoards of students👨🎓👩🎓 who stink the same way as you do and reaching school late, getting your school calendar signed for a late remark and sit in the class in your soggy shoes👟👟 with wet books📚 on your table and water droplets💦 dripping from every surface of your body. Isn't catching a bus🚍 harder than catching a cold🤧 out here these days? Moreover, the bus🚍 would come at 7:45am everyday and if someone missed it they would have to go in the next 8:00am bus. Their school started at 8:05am, and it is clearly impossible to reach on time in the latter bus🚍 beacuse it is "Edinburgh traffic" after all and their school🏫 had many other schools🏫🏫🏫 in its vicinity, all starting at almost the same time🕗 as theirs.
Papers📝📄 scattered everywhere, invoices receipts and much more. Different colour pens🖊️🖋️ have been put to use. A low table here and a storage drawer there. Full of papers📄 and papers📄 and papers📄. The carpet full of papers📄. To top off the messy surroundings, the handwriting on them is got to be messy too. Guess what happens when all the papers📄 are compiled? They are again strewn all over the floor of the room in a matter of seconds.
"Ughh! So aggravating. That 'Mr. No I don't know anything butler' will come in to clean my chambers in five minutes, how am I supposed to wrap up that fast!!!?"
