Chapter 14

"Great, now I am left all alone again..." Jimin muttered and flop himself on the couch.

"What should I do now?"

When Jimin was about close his eyes, the door bell rang.

"I'm coming!" Jimin yelled as he lazily get up from the couch and proceed to open the door.

"Wh-" Jimin have his eyes wide open.

"Happy birthday,my little old boy."

"Happy birthday, my son."

"Mom? Dad?" Jimin said and quickly hug his parents.

"How are you?" Mr. Park asked as he rubbing the back of Jimin.

"I'm fine dad. How about you two?" Jimin asked.

"We're fine too." Mrs. Park answered.

"Let's get in." Jimin said, showing his gummy smile.

"W-wait!"

Jimin tilted his head and ask, "Why, mom?"

"Ice cream!" Her mom said.

Jimin raised up his eyebrows and ask, "Ice cream?"

Mr. Park quickly say, "Your mom is craving for ice cream."

"Don't worry, I have ice cream in the freezer."

"No! Not ice cream! I'm craving for junk food! Let's go!" Mrs. Park said as she pulled Jimin with her.

"To where mom?"

"Convenience store, of course." Her mom said and drag her out of his house.

"How about dad? Are we going to leave him alone?" Jimin asked.

"Yeah, don't worry. He'll take care of your house."

"Hmm...okay. We'll come back home later, dad!" Jimin yelled as his mom already drag him a few meters away from his house.

Mr. Park then bid a good-bye to his son as he yell, "Take care!"

"Mom is weird, why did she buy so much junk food?"

"Mom, these junk food isn't good for your health...You should know that..." Jimin said.

Mrs. Park let out a soft chuckles and say, "Yeah, I know, they aren't for me. Don't worry."

"What? Didn't you said you are craving for them?"

"Did I said that?" Mrs. Park asked as she twisted the doorknob of his house.

"Why my house is still dark?" Jimin asked as he entered the house.

"Happy birthday!" Voices can be heard as Jimin's dad come out from the kitchen while holding a cake.

All of his friends are following Mr. Park from behind as they start singing happy birthday song.

"Where's her?" Jimin thought as he finally focus on his dad who is already in front of him.

The song end, and the party started without Dahyun.

"I thought ya'all said you couldn't"
