HINATA POV:
"ONIIII CHANNNN!!" Natsu? I thought to myself, Why is she up this early? "I'm coming! give me a second ok?" I let out a soft sigh as I pushed my sheets out of the way. The mirror directly in front of me had its own voice in a way. Before I even realized the mirror started speaking to me.
Ugly
disgusting
disappointment
no one loves you
you don't deserve to live
just die...
I felt my eyes begin to water up while I aggressively pulled my nightstand drawer open. No, you can't do it today! It's no use, I'm never able to stop myself what makes me think I would be able to now. I gently rolled my eyes and grabbed a sharp razor from the very back of the drawer. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, I'll just do another 6 on the other wrist. 1, 2, 3...I sighed in relief as I dragged the blade across my wrist slowly. I know self-harm is wrong but I couldn't stop my self, It just felt so...I can't even explain honestly it just helps me cope.
After I wrapped the last bandage around my arms quickly pulled on a thick long sleeve hoodie and headed to Natsu's room. "Natsu what's wrong?" I asked with sympathy filled in my voice. "Oni-chan I had a b-ba-bad dream" tears started to spill down Natsu's face, she took the palm of her hand and wiped them off aggressively leaving her cheeks a little red. I walked up to her and embraced the little girl in a warm gentle hug. "It's ok, it's only a dream," I whispered under my breath. This only made her cry harder, her breathing pace was now shaky and fast. Damn it how do I calm her down. "Hey, Natsu..." The little girl looked up at me while murmuring a little, mmhm under her breath. "Wanna go sleep in my room tonight?" The little girl's face brightened immediately while she grabbed my hand and pulled me to my room.
TIME SKIP
DAMN IT I'M LATE FOR VOLLEYBALL PRACTICE! "Natsu! Natsu! wakeup!" "Yes, Oni-chan?" "Were late" I sighed. I didn't want to come off rude to Natsu since she was really sensitive. "I'm gonna miss free time!" Natsu yelled as she ran out of my room into the bathroom. I walked up to my drawer and started my morning routine. Brush teeth check, Hair check, shower check, wrists...check, long sleeve clothing check. Crap crap crap blood is leaking blood is leaking. I quickly wrapped an extra layer of my bandages and ran out of the room.
After I dropped Natsu off at school I ran as fast as I could, "I'm so late," I muttered as I swung the gym doors open.
"HINATA!"
"WHERE WERE U!"
"WE WERE ALL SO WORRIED!" I could feel my hands shake in embarrassment as an apologetic look spread across my face. "I overslept..." I let out a nervous giggle and headed towards the middle of the court. *Ring Ring* *Ring Ring* "I think that's you Hinata," "Oh," I chuckled with a smile. I picked up my phone from my loose pocket and tapped the black screen to see who was calling me...
I didn't know how to react, it felt like my heart just stopped and all I could do was watch my phone ring. Before I knew it I was shaking violently. I need to stop or else there gonna get worried, I thought to myself. "Hinata are you ok?" Daichi looked towards me with deep concern in his eyes. "I...I need t-to take th-the phone c-c-call," I muttered. Studdering overflowed my whole sentence there definitely gonna be suspicious now, idiot. I ran out of the court, going straight into the hallway and into the bathroom. You can do this just be strong. I picked up the phone and said one small brief word. "D-Dad...?"
"Missed me?!" My father said in between evil malicious laughter. I had no words, I couldn't even bring myself to say anything. "Anyways come home by 5:00 sharp...I have a little special something waiting for you," Even though I couldn't see him physically, I could already imagine an evil grin spreading across his face, and just like that...he hung up. I couldn't stop crying, my breathing pace was faster than Natsu's breathing pace last night. Tears kept on streaming across my face and wouldn't stop coming. I-I need to protect Natsu. I-I can't let anybody find out. I-I I have to...why me? Things are already hard for me and Natsu...why? The shaking of my limbs continued to get faster. My knuckles were clenched so tight blood trickled down my fingertips. And at that moment everything went black.
