Chapter 2: Returning

Corey's P.O.V.
A couple of months later
I made it to the city and the very first thing I did was pay the boat driver for the ride. He told me to keep the money. I'll need it for later. I did that and I got off the boat. Little did I know that this very moment would change my life for good. I was nervous about this. Would I be accepted here or would I be the one that they don't accept? Why am I doubting myself? Am I
… afraid? No I am not. I'm just going to try.

As I walked around the city looking for the registration office. Then I bumped into a girl. She said "Watch It." She was a Tunkie and fell to the ground. I noticed that she was just a teenager like me.

I kept my hood on and apologized "Sorry." As I held out my hand to her to help her up. She swatted it away. I was just trying to be nice.

"Hey I don't need your help." She retorted angrily and then she got up off the ground by herself. I hoped my friend Tyler or Tyrone as I called him, was having a good life.

Normal P.O.V.
As the wolf Beastman was running after the Tunkie girl and the hooded guy. He said "Micharu what have you gotten yourself into."

The Tunkie girl turned around and replied "Shiro, this guy bumped into me."

The guy retorted "I'm sorry for that. I tried to be nice." As he took off his hood to reveal his face. "Let me introduce myself, I'm … Corenilous J Lee. I'm a Human or rather I was. I'm just a regular Beastman now. I work and I sleep in the park since my papers are still getting processed."

Shiro, the Wolf Beastman, mutters "You can stay with us until your papers are processed."

Michiru P.O.V.
I wasn't happy about what Shiru is doing for this stray Beastman. He shows up out of nowhere and Shiro gives him a room and some clean clothes. Day one I lived with Shiro, he locked me up in my own room. Then Rose had to tell Shiro to let me out. Even though I saved the day, Shiro isn't happy, he just thinks I'm just like every other human. I just don't understand him. We saved the city one time.

As Shiruo and this beastman walked into my room. The Wolf beastman says “The two of you sharing this room. Just don’t do anything stupid while you are staying here.”

I replied angrily “That’s not fair. I’m a girl and that person is male.”

The guy sighed “I’m a guy that is pure and keeping my vows for my beliefs.” As he took out a necklace with a cross on it.

??? P.O.V.
As I was stowing away on a boat, to find my friend from the online app called Notepad,  and we could finally meet. I hope he doesn’t know that I’m not human. Oh hello my name is: Noa, yeah call me Noa.  I’m a Beastman, I’m a runaway from a camp that experimented on people with BNA or as it is actually called beast deoxyribonucleic acid. This so-called camp is funded by a secret organization that was hired by the Italian Government.  I’m only thirteen years old. My mom and dad thought that this camp would help me with school work. It’s been one year since I last saw them. That’s how long I’ve been away from home. My Friend is in America, he lives in a state called California. I hope it’s sunny there, and people don’t mind a stowaway living in the country.

As the small cargo ship takes off from the port. A man called out “Subject number 39-01a: Wolfdregil, has escaped our testing room.”

Another man replied “He mustn't have gone far, his transformation isn’t completed yet. His body can’t handle the frigid temperature, since his BDA isn’t fully developed. His immune system will collapse if he doesn’t finish injections.” The boat left harbor and was heading towards Anima City for dropping off the cargo that I was hiding in. What the men were talking about piqued my interest. I just stayed low for a while. I hope what they were saying wasn’t true. This worried me alot. People on the ship were just pretending to care about this place called Animacity. Apparently it is a safe place by Japan that is a safe haven for Beastmen. I have some unique items I picked up from my travels yeah i traveled a lot until this changed my life...I have a sword and a shield styled similarly to the goddess Amaterasu's weapons oh yeah also I have chains that are connected to my limbs they are dampener chains.

They curb my powers for the most part they nullify 70% of my power I wear them willingly since if I was at full power, I would leave nothing behind me except destruction and that's why I never take them off unless I  have to. You already know my name is Noa but my full name is Noa "Silverbranch Shinokura" Shadowsteel".
