Brooklyn's P.O.V
*6 months later*
It's been six months since I came on Bord this ship. Six months since I joined this crew. Six months since I last saw the lost boys. Six months since I last saw Peter. That last one I didn't really care about. All love for him has drained from my body, now replaced by hatred. Hook has told me about a lot of the things that Pan has done. He's a monster. No! He's a bloody demon. Hook has been training me a lot, with weapons as well as magic. He says that I'm really good with a sword and a pistol. I've discovered that I can manipulate minds, but that takes a lot of energy so that's a last resort. I've also been learning to control my emotions. Just so that the incident with Kayton doesn't happen again.
Today is the day I'm asking hook to let me go. As much as I love being on the ship, it's getting crowded and boring on the ship.
"Hook!" I call across the ship as I run to him.
"Yes?" He asks.
"I have to ask you something. As much as I love the ship and you and the crew, i-i-" I was cut off.
"It's okay. I knew this day would come sooner or later. You want to leave the ship."
"I think I'm ready." He nodds.
"I know you are." I wrap my arms around him and hug him. He tenses for a moment before hugging me back. I pull away and looked at him.
"Thank you. For being such a good friend, you were like a father to me. Thank you for training me."
"You're welcome. Speaking of training, I have something for you." He pulls out a pistol and hands it to me. The handle has my name carved onto it in beautiful handwriting. He then proceeds to pull out a sword. It has a dark handle, also with my name carved in it, written in silver.
"Hook, they're beautiful." I put the new sword in my holster around my waist on my left. I put the pistol in the holster as well.
"Brooklyn! You weren't planning on leaving without saying goodbye were you?" The familiar voice asked. I turned around.
"Of course not, Jason." I smiled. He hugged me for a long moment before pulling away, looking in my eyes. A hint of sadness glistened in his eyes.
"Promise that you'll come back. And I mean, really promise. I don't want to loose you." I smile.
"I promise." He hugged me once more before letting me go. I had really gotten to know Jason over the last six months. He was so kind to me. We had gotten so close and now I was leaving him. In some ways I felt really bad, but I had to go. I walked over to the already prepared plank for me to walk on and turn to face hook. I smile once more and he nodds. With that I walk down. Down to certain doom.
