'Quirk'

Kayda's pov;
I walked through the hallway to 1st period
I didn't see that dude that harmed me.
Apparently mom told the nurse to give me the pills

After first period I saw the dude

"What's up idiot."

"What do you want now."

He punched my stomach

..That's when I accidentally went overboard

I used my quirk and burned his arm

Now I'm sitting in the principle's office with mama

"You're daughter..used her quirk when she wasn't suppose to and.."

"SHE BURNED ME!" He said holding his bandages bleeding hand

Mom looked at him and back at me

"Kayda..What did we talk about using quirks"

"But mom I was defending myself.."

"Did he hurt you.."

I stayed quiet. I wanna tell mom what he's been doing but if I do he'll probably do it again..

Don't tell. I think it's better if he punch some sense into you. Seeing you weak like you're mom is fantastic

I stared at the wall tears forming into my eyes

"Kouhaku."

I snapped back into reality after mom said my name

"What did he do?"

"..nothing"

"So you used you're quirk for no reason?"

I looked at his bruised arm

"She has to go to iss for an week. Sorry."

"Yes ma'am" mom said grabbing my hand

"Kayda what you did was wrong.."

"Mom I was defending myself.." I said trying not to cry

I sat in the backseat and looked at the window as mom continued to talk. I blanked out afterwords falling asleep

Mom carried me inside and I heard dada voice playing with Hikari

"Uh..babe." Mom said trying to get dad's attention

"Hm?" Dad said walking towards him

They kissed then continued talking

"Kayda ended up.." I blanked out during them talking

I kept thinking of what he's gonna keep doing..

You're quirk wasn't useless at all huh. But I'm sure his quirks Gonna hurt you

"Kayda?"

I just kept staring at the wall

"Kayda..?"

"Kirishima get the pills-"

Mom ran to get the pills as I stayed quiet staring at the wall

Nothing was wrong with me, I just kept thinking

I snapped back and said "I'm fine don't worry."

"You have to take the pills either way."

I pushed them away "no"

"Kayda if we gotta do what we did yesterday-"

I shoved his hand away "no!"
