Dipper followed Shadow into the forest. Since he didn't know his way to Bill's statue, Shadow was leading him. They were also gonna talk when they got there. Dipper wasn't sure what they were gonna talk about, but he partly didn't care. He rubbed his eyes and sighed. He felt like he could just collapse and sleep on the forest floor, but he didn't and continued onward. Eventually Shadow stopped, so he stopped as well. In front of him was Bill, but a statue of him. Most of his upper body was out of the ground, and his arm stuck out, almost like it was waiting for them to shake his hand. Shadow murmured something under her breath, but Dipper didn't really pay attention as he walked closer to the statue. He fell to his knees and stared at it. He wasn't sure what to do, or say, but Shadow spared him of talking as she spoke up.
"Take your time Dipper. Come here as often as you want. You'll never forget the way here or back. But I can't stay here, I have to go," she told him. He looked back at her and nodded, then returned his gaze to Bill. He heard fading footsteps behind him, indicating that Shadow was leaving, but he didn't pay much attention to it. With a sigh Dipper looked up towards the sky. The sky was pure blue, with no clouds. He smiled slightly. Then looked down and closed his eyes. The grass beneath him was soft, and fortunately didn't stick to his legs as he got up. He stared at Bill for a couple seconds longer, then turned around and sighed. He rubbed his eyes again, then started to make his way back to the Mystery Shack. Occasionally glancing back at Bill.
