I was lying in bed, the pain of my head becoming unbearable. I groaned, holding my head as it ached with tremendous power. I then felt something leak from my mouth, but it didn't taste like saliva, or blood. I started coughing, rolling to my side as I clutched my stomach. I trembled as my stomach now hurts, and my head still hurt. I felt like my life was being slipped way from me, and I couldn't see anymore. It was all black.

I woke up in a different area. It looked like something you'd see from a nightmare. Trees were all decayed, or dying. I couldn't tell. But something was close by, and it felt.. familiar. But, before I could run, I felt a hand on my shoulder, and I saw a purple like creature float around me, looking at me with a smile, or... at least, it looked like a smile. It's eyes were pure white, and it was wearing a scarf much similar to mine, the black and white stripes on it matched my old one. I felt my body grow cold, so I started running my arms, as if that helped.

"Why shiver when it's just your simple mind playing tricks on you?" the thing suddenly said.

I gasped, looking at this thing. It's voice sounded so much like mine! It blinked, as I kept on trying to warm myself up, although it didn't help. It floated around me more, but it didn't have any clothes, oddly enough. I sneezed, looking as it circled around me one last time.

"Do you think that you can help the cold?" the lookalike asked.

I blinked, shaking my head. "N-n-no..?" I said, my voice shaking with the shivering.

The thing then frowned. "You aren't enough to stop these nightmares, Ffionn." it said, which shocked me. It knew my name?!

I couldn't help but panic. I stumbled backwards, and fell into the ground, shaking and trying to get away from this thing. It stared at me with a tilted head, which made me worried. Why is it so interested in me?! Does it find me as amusement? I started crawling backwards as it floated up to me, staring at me. I gulped, and looked around for help. But nothing here could do it, due to it all being woodland and such. I was trapped. I looked at it, as it plastered on a smile.

"While you're here, why don't we have a chat?" the thing asked, and when I blinked, we were transported to an area of these woods, appearing much like something from Alice In Wonderland, with the table in the middle, and a white cloth on it. I was seated at one end, and the thing was seated at the other. It had a teacup, and another was in front of me. It was stirring the tea with a spoon, and the thing was staring at me, probably waiting for me to start. I went to speak, and when I did, I wasn't shivering, or freezing as a matter of fact.

"What are you?" I asked, hoping that was the right question.

The thing chuckled. "I am a demon, but I have decided to take your body as a host. Think of me as a parasite: I'm gonna take your energy, and then once your drained, I will leave you to die, and take another life." it smirked.

I went to ask another question, but it held up a finger, picking up its cup, and then opening its sinister mouth, a monstrous appearance to it, with pointed teeth and a long, black tongue. It then devoured the teacup and closed it's mouth. It then looked at me. "My turn." it chuckled.

I gulped, as it then thought before speaking. "What did you think when I told you I was a parasite-like demon?" it asked.

I gulped, and looked down. "I-I was... s-scared... and surprised... and s-shocked?" I admitted. "I-I didn't know I was worthy enough t-to be possessed by a demon..." I said.

It then smirked, but before I knew it, I started coughing, and I looked around, seeing that I was in the waking world again. I still hurt everywhere, but I could hear someone's panicked voice, and it sounded familiar. It sounded like Stephan.

"Ffionn! You're gonna be alright, you hear me?!" Stephan shouted at me.

I looked around. I was in my room still, but I was on my back. I felt my stomach knot as I felt bad for Stephan. I made him worry. I looked at Stephan, who was staring at me with a worried expression. I blinked before I softly smiled. "I'm fine now, Steph. You don't need to worry." I told him.

He teared up, hugging me while he cried hard on my shoulder. I just rubbed his back, and let him cry. "I'm okay..." I said, but I wasn't sure if I was. Was I okay? With a demon possessing me and taking my life as we sat here, doing nothing about it? I started tearing up too. I don't wanna die.

I heard Stephan keep on crying, and I decided to try and suppress my worries. My best friend mattered the most right now. I kept on rubbing his back, as he kept on crying his eyes out. I frowned, but I just continued to tell him "I'm alright".

Eventually he stood up straight, and seemed extremely worried. "You say you're fine, but what I saw? What I saw?! You were leaking some sort of b-black liquid out of your mouth, a-and you sounded like you were in s-so much pain!" Stephan cried, his eyes already red from crying.

I blinked, panic rising within me. I was leaking a black liquid from my mouth?! What is that, an ink?! I started to tear up more, which made Stephan go back to hugging me, bringing me close as I cried onto his shoulder. I didn't wanna die! I just cried, eventually starting to pass out from the crying.

As I drifted off to sleep, the last thing I heard was "I'm going to help you", and it made me feel a bit at ease. It sounded like Stephan, so I assumed it was my best friend, telling me he will help at every cost.
