𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐏𝐓𝐄𝐑 𝐎𝐍𝐄!

"leo, baby! wake up!" jane whispered. shaking her son, trying to wake him up.

she had woken up extra early in the morning. knowing she had things to do. from appointments to shopping and lots more. something lots of mother's did.

"leo, up up up!" jane sang. picking him up carefully. attempting to move his hair and open his eyes. something he hated in the mornings.

"your awake?" she asked. leo nodding slowly opening his eyes. jane planting a kiss on his right cheek. leo smiling softly.

"great. cause we have a lot to do today!" she mumbled. walking into the bathroom and undressing him. starting the shower and making sure the water wasn't too cold.

"do you want the one that smells like apple or the one that smells like grapes. which of the two?" jane asked. showing him his two options. "apple one" he replied. grabbing it and opening it. taking in the smell of green apple. one of his favorite fruits.

"do you wanna see auntie money today? she started school!!" jane asked leo as she poured water over his black, long hair. "auntie moneyy!!" he squealed. splashing water on jane who just giggled.

"come on big boy. we don't wanna be late." she blurted out. taking him out the bath and wrapping him into his baby shark towel that he so much loved.

"mommy.." he mumbled. struggling to put on his shirt. "yeah?" jane questioned. helping him out and looking for his lotions. "I- if i had a -birtday? wood da- daddy be there?" he asked. looking into jane's eyes.

She hated when he asked questions related to his dad. she didn't know how to respond and everyday it's a new one.

"do you want him to?" She asked softly. applying his lotion and putting on his pants. "yes." he happily said. Jane's heart aching knowing she couldn't make his wish come true.

She hasn't seen mattia since she was 14 years old and he left her. she had no clue were he was. or what he was doing.

"we'll see.." she mumbled. putting on his shoes and setting him on the floor so he can walk behind her while she looked for her purse.

"you want a lollipop?" She blurted out. showing him a blueberry flavored lollipop she had saved for him.

"blue!" he said. jumping up and down, grabbing the lollipop struggling to open it. "let me help!" jane chuckled. grabbing it from him and opening it. "here you go." She mumbled. handing it back and picking him up so  they can both go downstairs.

"McDonald's for breakfast?" jane asked. setting leo in his car seat. "a milk!" he squealed. jane clapping as she looked for his diaper bag.

"mommy over there!" he yelled. pointing over at the couch. "good job L!!" jane laughed. grabbing the diaper bag, the car seat, her purse and keys. walking out and locking the door.

she put Leo in the back seat with his bag, and began to drive off.

MCDONALDS

it was now 11. jane had woken Leo up at 10 to get him ready. giving her enough time to get him and her best friend some lunch/ break fast.
