Chapter 12 Feelings

Team Akata are currently hopping on trees to their next destination, now you know a lot has happened the past four years but, did Itachi.....changed? No he hasn't found a home yet, that isn't the thing that changed, it was something else, he started having feelings that had vanished the day he was ordered to kill his clan. The feeling that he loved slowly came back, that was something he was happy about but he was also shocked that he got them back, he never thought he would have these feelings again, the feeling of warmth. But from who? Who did he feel that warmness from? Izumi was the only one he felt warmth around but, she has passed away years ago, so, who is it? He felt warmth around the person he first met in a forest, a fox-like male, a male that carries a burden in him only to be treated poorly by his own birth place............it was Naruto. Itachi has grown protective of Naurto but he doesn't know why, the first time he showed it was when a man came up to Naruto and said somethings to him only to get two broken arms and a broken leg, he was also kicked in the rib by Itachi as well, it wasn't a pretty sight to see and Uchiha angry, Itachi to be exact, an Uchiha prodigy, it's best you not mess with him, if you see him, flee on sight. But, you might not have to flee, as long as you don't really do anything to a certain blond you'll make it alive without any broken bones or anything but, if you do say something or do something to the young blond, it's game over, a life shortened by the famous Uchiha Itachi.

Itachi POV

It's four years later now, I am now 19, Naruto is 14 and Karin is 17. We have two other teammates who are Jugo who is 17 and Suigetsu who is also 17. We are now on our way to a small village near the hidden Mist where Yagura is, we'll probably go visit Yagura after we stay at the small village for a bit because we are pretty tired and if we want to get to the hidden Mist, we have to cross the water which will make us more exhausted because we will be using chakra. I've started feeling warmth, the same warmness I felt when I was with Izumi, the same warm feeling when she was alive and before.....I killed her. But, the past is the past, the tragic past should be forgotten to make room for precious memories to come in the future. It's just kind of strange, the same warmth I once felt when Izumi was alive is the same warmth I feel with Naruto here, it's so strange, I don't understand, I should be able to since I'm an Uchiha prodigy but, it's not making sense, I don't understand why i'm feeling this warmth by being near him. But, I know there is something about it because I remember once, I injured a man when he started saying things to Naruto, I did not like it for some reason, I knew my sharingan was activated by, I don't think I activated it on purpose, it's just like it activated on it's own reacting to.....my emotions? I was definitely angry when the man said things to Naruto, I know my own angry and I know I was angry that time but why? He's a member of my team and yeah but I would usually don't do that for a team member, I normally let the deal with it themselves but, I did react when he said something to Naruto.

Team Akata finally arrived at the small village near the hidden Mist. They got two hotel rooms since Karin and Naruto are sharing one room since they're cousin and Karin is overprotective so she doesn't want Naruto to share a room with the others, plus, they usually share rooms anyways. The second room was for Itachi, Jugo and Suigetsu to share, luckily each room has 4 beds so both rooms had extra beds. It's the next day, they got breakfast and went outside the village, Naruto saw a man asking for help.

"Sir what do you need help with?" asked Naruto.

"Please find my daughter for me! She's all I have after my wife died. She has short brown hair and brown eyes, she's wearing a white dress and she has a blue flower crown on her head. Her name is Marie." said the man with tears falling down his face.

"Don't worry I'll help you find your daughter." replied Naruto even though he's still tired. Everyone knew that Naruto was still tired, they were still tired as well, it was Naruto being selfless, but they knew he couldn't help it, even though he's still exhausted. They all helped the man find his daughter and in the end, they did find Marie and return her to her father receiving a thank you.

"You know you're still pretty selfless." said Itachi.

"I don't care, I'm not selfless anyways. I just feel bad for the man, plus, the little girl must have felt scared not seeing her father anywhere near her." replied Naruto.

"Yeah! My cousin is right!" said Karin smiling proudly because of Naurto's kindness.

"It was the right thing to do." said Jugo admiring Naruto's kindness.

"It was tiring though." said Suigetsu.

"Let's go get food then!" said Naruto happily.

"What should we get then?" asked Jugo.

"I know! Ramen!" said Karin and Naruto at the same time.

"We could get that for dinner. I want to eat something else right now." said Suigetsu.

"Let's get dango then." said Itachi.

"What's dango?" asked Naruto( Naruto, Karin and Jugo has never had dango before).

"You'll love it." said Itachi.

"Let's hurry up and go get some." said Suigetsu, then they all went to the dango store. They bought a two boxes of dango and sat down underneath a tree at a park. Itachi opened a box and gave a dango stick to Naruto. Naruto ate a dango and he's eyes started sparkling.

"It's delicious." said Naruto. Karin and Jugo each took a dango stick and ate a dango.

"It's tasty! You're right Naruto, it's delicious." said Karin.

"It tastes sweet and delicious. It's good." said Jugo.

"Isn't it?" said Itachi chuckling. 'This reminds me of my first time trying dango. It was when Izumi gave  me one. Wait, why do I feel the same feeling when I saw Naruto happily eating dango? It was like when Izumi first showed me dangos.'  thought Itachi but then he just ignored it. 

The day after that, they packed their stuff and got ready to leave the small town. They were going to visit Yagura who is still the Mizukage in the hidden Mist since they haven't been there for a long time plus, Suigetsu wants to see how Zabuza is doing. They left the town going towards the direction of the hidden Mist.
