"I need help," I screamed as I burst through the doors. "Get the paramedics or something! He can't breathe!" I was shouting while tears were streaming down my face. Somebody came and took Kellin away. "I need to go with him!" The paramedics wouldn't let me stay with him. "Sorry, Sir, family only," they didn't understand. "But I am family! I'm his boyfriend," I shouted that a little too loudly and earned several looks of disgust from people. "No, Sir. You need to fill out his information," spoke the calm paramedic. "Fine," I was crying but I didn't care.

I was filling out Kellins form, or tying to, when a shadow covered the clip-board. "Excuse me, are you Victor Fuentes?" spoke the shadow in a deep voice. "Y-yes, why??" I questioned while looking up. "It's your boyfriend," oh no, "he's okay." Oh thank god. "You can go see him when you're done filling out the form." I couldn't stop smiling, "Okay," I said as I hurried to finish.

Finally, I'm done. "Uhm-" I was cut off by the lady at the front desk, "Your boyfriend's in room 233, Sugar." She called me sugar. Oh. That's new. "Thank you," I yelled as I raced down the hall to the elevators.

"Kellin?" I knocked on the side of the door frame and he looked over at me. A sleepy smile spread across his face when I entered the room. "Vic, you came to see me?" he asked. "Babe I'm the one who brought you in. I'm the one who drove you here," I said, laughing light-heartedly. Kellin's smile grew even wider, if that was even possible.

"Did you say you're my boyfriend? Because the doctor told me 'I have a very nice boyfriend' and to 'take care of him because he's a keeper'," Kellin laughed as he did his impression of the doctor. God his laugh is so beautiful. I cleared my throat and responded, "Yeah actually, it's the only way they'd let me see you." I looked around the room, too nervous to make eye contact. "Good, because you are." I froze. I was frozen in place. "Are you serious?" I asked, dreading getting told no. "Yes, now come here and give your boyfriend a hug you dork." I did as I was told and made my way over to my boyfriend. God that feels so good to say. I cautiously hugged him, not wanting to hurt him.

"Mr. Quinn-Bostwick?" The doctor had come into the room, "we'd like to keep you overnight. If you're stable by tomorrow morning your boyfriend may take you home," He spoke with so much seriousness. I was afraid to ask if I could sleep in the room with Kellin, but I wanted to so badly. "Hey, Mr. Doctor-Guy? Can Vic stay in my room with me tonight?" Kells spoke up and asked him, that brave soul.
the doctor looked me up and down before speaking, "Uh, no, I'm sorry but that's against regulations here." Kellin looked at me with an apologetic look in his eyes. "Although, Mr. Quinn-Bostwick, you should get some rest. I'm sorry, Vic, but I'm going to have to ask you to leave," said the doctor, looking me in the eyes. "Okay," I said as I bent down to kiss Kellin, "I love you, I'll see you tomorrow." Kells looked sad but responded anyways, "Okay, I love you too. Be safe. Go see your family, I'll see you tomorrow, Chulito." I smiled at him, kissed him one more time, then left.

I had arrived outside my house and a wave of anxiety washed over me. My palms were sweaty and all I could think of was Kellin. "Okay, Vic, you can do it. You're only going home. Soon you can go back and get Kellin," I spoke to myself, fully aware that I was the only one who was going to hear.

Full of fear, I got out of the car, climbed the few front steps, and opened the door. Mama's head turned towards me instantly. "Victor!" Mama came over and engulfed me in a hug. "Where have you been!?" Mama hasn't let go of me since I walked through the door. "Mama, I can't breathe." I said, gasping for air in exaggeration. "Is that Vic!?" I could hear my little brother, Mike, running own the stairs. "Mikey!" I practically screeched. Mama let go and her presence was instantly replaced by Mike. Now I really couldn't breathe. "M-Mike," was all I could get out. I tapped his shoulder and he finally let go.
