Chapter 3 - U⃣

I am currently at Ben's house drinking beer with some of our friends including some of Ben's friends from his hometown that he introduced me to. I had met Mike, Mitch, John and Jake at the gym, there are currently two other guys named Jaxon and Derek whom Ben introduced me to as his hometown friends.

"So you're telling me that you both are twins?" Derek asked John and Jake who nodded in unison. "Are you sure that you both are twins too?" he then asked Mike and Mitch who weren't so amused by his comment, mike replying to him with a "fuck you" and mitch just simply sitting there staring at him while drinking his bottle of beer.

"Derek, not everyone who has the names starting with the same are twins." Ben chuckled sitting down on the couch after putting the food away.

"The food was good Ben. Maybe I may finally decide to move here so that I can eat the food that you prepare." Jaxon said to him with a smile.

The food tasted great, he truly is talented. I must say we all hung out and ate and it felt like being a teenager all over again. Mitch mentioned that he plays the guitar and sings and I invited him over to play with me sometime as I loved to sing and play when I am free. Which is not very often but it helps to cope with the stress. Making me immediately think of the work that is pending and all of the things that I had to do.

I was snapped out of my thoughts when Ben had asked me a question. "Can you repeat it? I'm sorry I was not listening," I said to him, actually paying attention this time.

"I said that Jaxon right here was looking for houses as he is going to move out here and you recently moved so you might know a few places that he might like '' Ben repeated, making me think back to the houses that I was looking for. I had later suggested he call some of the agencies selling houses at a good price and I had also told him that I would call in and give a good word about him so that it would be easier for him to rent or buy, whatever he was planning on doing.

He also mentioned he would be getting married soon so he asked our opinion whether he should be renting or buying, or whether he should get a house or an apartment. I suggested to him that he would be able to save more money on investing in a good house and renovating the place if he wanted rather than renting out an apartment. But I also mentioned that it would be his decision and I won't be forcing him to do anything that he has second thoughts about.

I later went home after calling my driver to pick me up from Ben's house as the other guys decided to stay at his place for a little longer and I had to start tomorrow's work earlier than usual.
