Harry's pov

We're in fifth year and i have come out as gay, and lost neary all of my friends in the process. Ron called me a disgrace. Ginny is mad thinking i used her all this time. Cho is just disgusted at the sight of me. Cedric called me a mistake. And the list goes on and on. My only friends are Hermione, Fred, George and Luna. But even they've been a little distant as they found out who made me realize I'm gay. As unlikely as it may sound, i am in love with Draco Malfoy. Yes, the same Draco Malfoy who bullied me and my friends. Who called my best friend a filthy mudblood. Who made fun of me countless times. That Draco Malfoy. It all started about three years ago...

<flashback>

Im walking down the halls, as im late for professor Snape's class. I walk into class, all eyes on me as i see that the seating is placed one Gryffindor beside a Slytherin. And to all my luck, the only spot left was beside Draco Malfoy.

"Sorry im late professor"

"Sit down mister Potter. I will discuss your detention after class" i nod and take my seat beside Malfoy.

"What was it this time Potter? Did someone scare you straight?" Malfoy laughs at his own stupid joke. You see, i am gay. Im not out, but im gay. Draco found out by reading my diary and has made fun of me for it ever since.

"Shut the bloody hell up Malfoy!" I whisper yell to him and he scoffs rolling his eyes. I look across the room looking for my friends. Hermione catches my eye and she mouths to me "ignore him Harry" obviously referring to Malfoy.

"Where in Merlin's name did i put it!" I whisper to myself as i search my bag for my quilt.

"Potter! Your quilt, you forgot it in class today" i hear from behind me. A cold voice, that to my surprise, warmed my heart.

"Thanks Malfoy" i say amd he nods handing it over to me

"What? You're not going to make fun of me?" I look up at him as he is a couple inches taller than me

"Look, i owe you an apology. I have been really rude to you and your friends these past two years, and i regret it every second of my life" i sit there lost for words. Malfoy is apologizing.

"Ive already apologized to your friends. Im not pressuring you to forgive me. In fact, I understand if you still hate me. I just wanted to apologize to you"

"I guess im a very forgiving person" i say and stretch my hand out to him "friends?"

"Friends" he says while taking my hand to shake it.

<end of the flashback>

Ever since our hands touched, he's been on my mind. We aren't exactly close friends, but we get along now, which is already a big step up from being enemies.

"Hey Potter, you know charms class is that was right?" I hear from behind me. Malfoy

"Very funny Draco"

"Im hilarious aren't I" he says proudly

"Bloody hell. Now c'mon were gonna be late for class" i say and pull him with me by his arm.

We arrive in charms class just a few minutes before the last couple of students. Me and Draco sat together in the back, talking paying zero attention to class.

"So are you gonna tell me about mister dream boy or not?"

"Quit it Malfoy. Im not telling you"

"I know where you keep your diary" he smirks. My cheeks turn bright red and he laughs quietly

"Fine Draco. I'll tell you who my crush is"

"Really?" He asks while sitting up straight, while i still have my back against the wall.

"Yes. But you have to promise not to make fun of me" i shift uncomfortably on the floor

"I promise" he says amd turns to look at me. I take a deep breath

"You..you're the dream boy im in love with"

"M- me?" He says clearly shocked

"Yes, you. And im sorry, i know you dont like guys and I shouldn't have said anything-" Draco cuts me off

"Bloody hell shut up harry" he says and presses his lips to mine.

"I love you scarhead" he says when he pulls away

"I love you too ferret" i say and snuggle up to him as he wraps his arms around me.
