Hope walked through the streets of Hogsmeade with Remus following closely behind her. She'd woken Remus early in the morning and all but dragged him out of the house without explaining anything.
"Hope," Remus finally spoke up when Hope pulled to a stop outside a small alleyway, "why did I have to come with you? Normally you do these things alone." Remus quirked an eyebrow at his goddaughter, obviously suspecting she was up to something.
"Because," Hope began, her tone mischievous and she had a small quirk to her lip, "if anybody were to ask what we were doing in Hogsmeade today I would need an alibi from you."
Remus regarded her and shook his head, rolling his eyes with a small laugh. "You are so much like your father, it is terrifying." Hope tilted her head in confusion, questioning Remus with only her eyes. "But that curiously, that is all your mother's fault."
Hope blushed, smiling slightly and adverting her eyes. "I'll meet you here in one hour," Hope spoke, hugging Remus tightly before ducking into the alleyway and leaving Remus standing there smiling in bemusement.
Weaving between buildings and alleyways, Hope rushed through the streets of Hogsmeade, constantly looking around to make sure that she wasn't being followed. She stopped outside a pub and knocked harshly three times on the small wooden backdoor.
"We're closed," a gruff voice shouted from inside before the door creaked open and a pair of dark eyes locked with Hope's. "Who are you, bit too young to be at a pub aren't you?"
"My name's Eliana Black and I believe we have a mutual benefit to each other."
"Well Miss Black," the man continued, his eyes widening as he opened the door and ushered the girl in, "I believe we should talk."

Exactly an hour later, Hope returned to the small alleyway and saw Remus looming by the entrance. "Did you get everything you needed to do done?" Remus asked when Hope approached him.
"Yes," Hope answered, a strange tone in her voice which made Remus frown in concern, "I'll tell you all about it at home. We should go, I told the Weasley's we'd meet them in Diagon Alley at two."
"Are you sure everything's alright?" Remus questioned, receiving a strange shrug in response. He considered the girl for a moment before carefully laying a hand on her shoulder. "Let's go," he muttered before the world slowly slipped away as they apparated back to their house.

"Mrs. Weasley," Hope shouted, rushing over to the group. Molly spun around breathing a sigh of relief when she saw Hope and Remus walking towards them. Hope then spotted Harry covered in soot with broken glasses and burst out laughing. "What on earth happened to you?"
"Flooing went wrong," Harry muttered, pouting slightly until Hope wrapped him in a tight hug and pressed a kiss to his cheek coaxing a blinding smile out of the small birthday boy. "I've missed you so much, Eliana-Hope," he muttered.
"I've missed you too, Harry," Hope spoke as she pulled away from the hug and smiled cheekily at him. "You look like a miscreant, let me fix it." She pulled her wand and flicked her wrist slightly, fixing his glasses and cleaning his robes.
"Kids," Molly called causing Harry and Hope to turn to her, blushing brightly and refusing to look her in the eyes, "we're going to Flourish and Blots to get books. Gilderoy Lockhart's there." Molly rushed out, excited and flustered at the idea of meeting the famous wizard.
Hope scrunched her nose up at the idea and quickly racked her mind for an excuse. "I've already got my books," she spoke, "but I could take Ginny to get her wand, whilst there's no queue?"
