Signs of depression, anxiety and anorexia

Alright listen since this quarantine everyone's mental health has be affected like a lot and you might not know you have depression,anxiety,or anorexia and the reason why I'm sharing this is because I have been showing a lot of the symptoms for all three of these things and I don't want anyone to deal with it when it's to late like I did so here are the symptoms and some other stuff and if your are showing symptoms of any of these things please talk to your doctor or someone you trust that is an adult.


!Warning there is some talk about suicide so please be cautious of that!










Depression

The persistent feeling of sadness or loss of interest that characterizes major depression can lead to a range of behavioral and physical symptoms. These may include changes in sleep, appetite, energy level, concentration, daily behavior, or self-esteem. Depression can also be associated with thoughts of suicide.

People may experience:
Mood: anxiety, apathy, general discontent, guilt, hopelessness, loss of interest or pleasure in activities, mood swings, or sadness
Behavioral: agitation, excessive crying, irritability, restlessness, or social isolation
Sleep: early awakening, excess sleepiness, insomnia, or restless sleep
Whole body: excessive hunger, fatigue, or loss of appetite
Cognitive: lack of concentration, slowness in activity, or thoughts of suicide
Weight: weight gain or weight loss
Also common: poor appetite or repeatedly going over thoughts

Anxiety

Symptoms include stress that's out of proportion to the impact of the event, inability to set aside a worry, and restlessness.

People may experience:
Behavioral: hypervigilance, irritability, or restlessness
Cognitive: lack of concentration, racing thoughts, or unwanted thoughts
Whole body: fatigue or sweating
Also common: anxiety, excessive worry, fear, feeling of impending doom, insomnia, nausea, palpitations, or trembling


Anorexia

Symptoms include trying to maintain a below-normal weight through starvation or too much exercise.


People may experience:
Whole body: dehydration, dizziness, fainting, fatigue, low blood pressure, low body temperature, osteoporosis, water-electrolyte imbalance, or feeling cold
Behavioral: binge eating, compulsive behavior, hyperactivity, impulsivity, or social isolation
Weight: underweight, weight loss, or extreme weight loss and thinness
Mood: anxiety, apprehension, or guilt
Gastrointestinal: constipation or vomiting
Menstrual: irregular menstruation or absence of menstruation
Developmental: delayed puberty or slow growth
Also common: brittle nails, bruising, depression, dieting, dry hair, dry skin, headache, sensitivity to cold, or slow heart rate
