It was the first day of Middle School! I was so nervous in my homeroom class. I went by Wolf. In my mind, I seperated all of my classmates by groups. The populars, the nerds, the geeks and then my people. I was so inmature, my first thought was of fitting in. I approached a kid named Lyler and introduced myself. He told me about Fayden and Tyder, his best friends. I also noticed a girl Nevaeh and her best friend Sarena. They seemed cool but unpopular. I wasn't concerned with them. Even though i didn't like these popular kids at all, i felt that I had to hang out with them for a while.
Soon after the first couple of weeks, my so called "friends" weren't being too friendly. I didn't like the abuse but I felt like I needed them. In reterospect, it was probably one the worse decisions I had ever made. After this behavior continued for weeks, I had enough. I left this horrible group. Since I was in search of new friends, I had befriended my carpool companion, Grayson. However, he was not in my class. I then remembered those two. What were their names? Oh yeah, Nevaeh and Sarena. We were in history class when I was moved to the table where they were at. Arthur was also at the table. A great friendship ensued...
When I first strted talking to them, they were the nicest people I had ever approached at this hostile school. These were "my people" as I say. My quickly became friends and talked all of the time. They then introduced me to their friends Gevon and Kenneth. Somehow, we always figured out a way to talk in history class with Ms. Taz. Once, there was an awkward moment. We were playing a game about sins and Nevaeh landed on Lust. Dumbfounded, Navaeh asked "What is Lust". We all just sat awkward when Kenneth answered her question. He said "This is a just an example, just an example. I like you Nevaeh, I love you Nevaeh, I want to be with and sleep with you." We all were very surprised by Kenneth's blunt and flirty answer. For the rest o the year, Kenneth kept dropping hints to Navaeh about is attraction to her. This led to a bit of a disconnect between her and him since the feeling was not mutual.
Soon, Kenneth became less and less subtle with his flirtacious comments and behavior. He also became more sickening to Nevaeh. This soon turned into a hilarious inside joke about Kenneth's many strange mannerisms. Near the end of sixth, the whole group became more and more detathced from Kenneth and he eventually fell out completely. The summer was very uneventful and the we came back for seventh grade for a big surprise...
