Q: Okay. So now I've got the picture ready for my story. How do I put it up?
A: Here's how. I've got a pretty simple step-by-step instructions.
1. Move your cursor key (the arrow icon that makes you click stuff) over your account name, which is found at the top of the site, in between the word "Wattpad" and a textbox used for searching stuff. Move the arrow there, but don't click it just yet. A drop-down box will appear.
2. Click on “My Works”.
3. Do you see this option written in blue words, “Create Story Group”, under this black bar that says “Other Links”? Click on that link and a smaller window will appear on the page.
4. The new smaller window has textboxes for the Story Title and the Description of your story. In between the textboxes for the In This Story and Available are a couple of buttons that look like these: [<<], [>>], [UP] and [DOWN]. Allow me to explain first what each of them are for.
The Available area is where all your chapters are placed if you haven’t transferred them to the In This Story part. Just click on the title of your chapter under Available, then click [<<] and it will transfer to In This Story. Now, just fill out the rest, like the description and title and stuff and click save.
5. Once you’ve done that, there will be a blank white rectangle on the side of your story group that says “no cover”. Click on the rectangle. That’s where the picture goes. A smaller window will appear (a lot smaller than the other one) that has a button that says, “Choose File”.
6. Click on the Choose File button and get the cover picture from whatever folder you saved it in your computer.
7. Wait for a second or two ‘cause the page is going to reload. When the page has reloaded, you’ll find the picture already there.
So that’s basically it. I hope my instructions were simple and comprehensive enough.
