Don't Ever Leave

I breathed out a sigh into the misty air. The fog was thick and heavy this morning on the way to school and it was clinging in droplets to my bare skin. I hugged my blazer closer to my chest, dropped my head down and charged on forward through the streets of London.

The bus stop was approaching in the distance and I let out a sigh of relief, I was running a tad late but there was a chance I could make it on time. I picked up my pace as the bus drove past me, it's back lights shining in my eyes and the breeze it left whipped hair all over my face. It stopped just a few metres ahead to let some passengers on so I did a little jog to catch up. I hopped on the bus as it was surely about to close it's doors and I almost knocked over the boy in front of me who was struggling with his Oyster card. I hmmphed in frustration and tapped my foot.

"Sorry I'm not good at this," the boy flicked his blonde hair and mumbled in an Aussie accent, frowning at the machine before another boy dragged him along behind him giggling. They hauled large suitcases and backpacks under their seats and talked loudly amongst themselves for the entire trip, so I had to turn my music up to full volume in my ears. I glanced at my watch as we came to the second intersection before my school. I could make it just in time for first period!

A muffled voice rang close to my ear but I ignored it at first before they tapped me on the shoulder. I ripped my headphones out and turned around looking at the person confused, he was one of the Australian boys. He had dark shaggy scene hair that he shook out of his eyes so he could see me clearly.

"Um hey do you have to touch your Oyster card off when you get off the bus?," he asked, his friends all awaiting an answer behind him. "Sorry but we've just flown to London from Australia so we don't know anything," he explained with a laugh. "Gee Michael no need to embarrass us," one of the other blonde boys playfully scolded. I looked at them all and faltered over my words because they were all actually so god damn attractive.

"Y-yeah you do," I mumbled gazing off into his eyes that were hidden under his fringe.

"Thanks babe," he said back, holding eye contact for longer than he should've. The beat from my headphones could be heard from where they dangled so I hurriedly picked them up, slightly embarrassed, and was about to put them in my ears.

"Hey! Is that Jasey Rae by All Time Low?!" the boy gestured to the music playing. I smiled to myself. A guy who knew his music.

"Yeah it is," I said, trying to act calm that a boy was talking to me, a boy who had good music taste. Holy shit.

I looked down at my hands and fiddled with the headphones. I could be an awkward person sometimes and I was extremely shy around attractive guys, I never knew what to say because I would simply be too awestricken by their looks to think of anything else.

He tensed up, obviously feeling the awkward atmosphere and slumped back down in his seat. I sighed to myself and was about to continue listening to my music before I glanced out the window to see I had missed my stop. I quickly pressed the stop button and crossed my arms over my chest fuming. Late for school for the third time meant a detention and I would have to walk a bit through the harsh wind.

As I climbed off the bus I looked back through the window at the boy for a split second to see him watching me before I averted my gaze to the sidewalk. As the bus rolled past I couldn't help but look back. I immediately knew that he was different to regular boys, and he had kept looking at me. But I wasn't double take material, I wasn't confident and I wasn't on that bus with him anymore. So I pulled my jacket tighter around my shoulders and forgot about him.

Michael's P.O.V.

I watched the girl climb off the bus, her platinum white hair blew in the wind, clinging to her face. She looked cold and annoyed and I didn't know why, I wished that I could talk to her again. She was beautiful, even just wearing her school uniform she had managed to catch my eye. Suddenly she looked up and caught me staring at her before blushing slightly and looking back towards the ground. How cute.

"Earth to Mikey?!" Ashton called, snapping his fingers at me. "Huh, what?" I turned from the window. "Which street do we have to get off at?" he asked. Calum was standing up trying to read the passing the street signs, "I think it's the next one." "Chester Street?" I questioned, "Yeah."

After we all piled off the bus and finally had landed at our new house, I looked around in disbelief. We were in London, myself and my 3 best friends in our own home, doing what we love. We all had the biggest of grins plastered on our faces. We raced towards the door where Ashton fumbled to fit the key in the lock and we walked into our new home. We threw our luggage straight onto the floor and began sprinting through every room of the house shouting and pointing at everything. I found a bedroom and instanly flopped down, a million thoughts flooding my head, and I was jetlagged and needed sleep.

This was the start of my future, I had a feeling that many good things were going to happen here. I found my pillow and pushed it under my head, flipping my body onto the side. My thoughts couldn't help but trace back to that girl. First day in London and I had already seen a gorgeous girl, this city must be full of babes. And she had been listening to All Time Low, what a bonus! But she mustn't listen to my band since she didn't recognise us. There weren't going to be many people who knew us here. I wonder how many chicks I could pull into my bed if I told them I was a famous band member in Australia? I chuckled to myself and yawned, my eye lids slipping down. Before I fell asleep I had one last thought. I hoped I would see her again.

Okay so I might've forgotten to mention that the guy was Michael before oops. So I've gone back and changed it a little. And the girl's name is Hayley, forgot to mention that too. Wow I suck at this. But it's in the description now so s'all good :)
