Chapter 6

"Daichi. What's with you and Hinata your hanging out so much." Sugawara asked me after stopping me in the hall. I was coming back from my hiding place. I tended to hide instead of eating breakfast.

"what's wrong with me spending time with him?" I asked confused.

"Just ANSWER the question." He was a lot more aggressive than normal. His voice on the verge of yelling in mum mode, I guess. I took a step back, a little frightened by him.

"Because I like him a lot! I like him as more than a teammate and I want to spend more time with him. What's wrong with that!" I shouted. He froze and looked down with a sad look. But he began laughing with a sinister look in his eyes and even a few tears.

"Oh- So you like Him then... hahaha fine!" Sugawara ran off into the gym.

"Shit SUGAWARA WAIT!" he didn't listen and I ran into the gym. Slaming the door open I saw Hinata being dragged away by Sugawara. Shit Shit SHIt!!

"Tanaka! Noya follow me now!" I ran up to them and after some convincing the tree of us ran out after them.

Hinata POV

"Ouch Suga-san what's going on?" Sugawara had run into the gym and taken my arm just as Kageyama was going to set me. he dragged me outside and down to an ally between classrooms. Slamming and pinning me into the wall.

"Do you like him too?" he asked me. His voice sounded pissed and upset.

"What do you mean Suga?" I shivered from the tone he used.

"DO YOU LIKE HIM BACK OR IS IT ONE SIDED! ANSWER ME!" He screamed. He was so scary.

"Suga I don't- who are you talking about?" I felt like crying.

"YOU KNOW DAM WELL WHO! DAICH! SO ANSWER ME!" wait dose he mean do I like Daichi because... he likes me? I didn't know for sure but I was not sure if I should tell the truth after all he was being so scary right now. But I knew I couldn't lie...

"I do. I like him a lot. More than teammates." I said. I knew my feelings for Daichi by now. But for whatever reason this seamed to make Suga even more pissed. "S-suga?" my voice was small and quiet.

"no... no... NO!" Sugawara looked me dead in the eyes, rage clear as day in his, and punched me in the face. "STAY AWAY DAMIT! DAICHI IS MINE YOU FUCKING BITCH! KEEP OFF!" Suga screamed before punching me in the face again. Id barley been able to stand the first time and after the second punch I went tumbling to the ground.

"S-Suga what? Why are you so mad?" my eyes filled with tears as I laid on the ground. He pinned me down and hovered above me. as I vaguely heard Daichi yelling in the distance.

"BECAUSE YOU STOLE DAICHI DAMIT!" he punched me one last time before I saw Daichi come over and pull Suga off me. I felt my tears flowing down my face and mixing with the blood leaking from a cut on my cheek. I looked up and saw Suga being pulled away by Tanaka and Nishinoya.

"Hinata are you okay? Oh god you are bleeding." Daichi scooped me into his arms and I clung to him and snuggled into his chest. Suga was yelling and screaming at Daichi and I as I cried into Daichi's chest. Daichi had enough.

"SUGAWARA! SHUT UP! IM NOT YOURS! YOUR MY BEST FRIEND NIT YOUR BOYFRIEND! LEAVE NOW!" Daichi screamed at the top of his lungs and to be honest, I was so scared. I hid further into him. Suga looked shocked by his words. Like he had snapped back to reality. "Tanaka, Noya take him back." The two boys escorted Sugawara back. "Ok he is gone. Hinata are you ok?" he asked me. I looked up him with big eyes.

"Daichi..."

"oh god your face is bleeding. Some bruises are popping up too. I'm going to take you to the nurses office. ok." I was a little bit freaked to see my little Hinata like this. He nodded into my chest. I picked him up bridal style and he snuggled in close, still crying.

I walked into the gym with Hinata in my arms and immediately caught the attention of everyone in Hinata's little protection/crush squad. But I didn't want them around, so I glared at them to keep them at bay. I walked though the hall and saw Sugawara sat at the bench with coach Ukai. Being yelled out by a very angry Tanaka and Nishinoya.

"Hinata close your eyes." He nodded and I walked up to them. "Guys cut it out. ill deal with it later." I said and coach had a shocked look on his face seeing Hinata.

"What happened!" he shouted.

"Ask Sugawara." I said still pissed before heading to the nurse's office. No nurse was there, go figure it's a Saturday. I laid Hinata down on a bed. He curled up into a ball still sobbing to himself. 'You will pay for hurting him Sugawara!' I waked around and found what I needed to treat his cut and bruises.

"I'm need to treat your cuts. Can you sit up please?" I asked in a soft voice and he listened. Sitting up with his legs dangling off the bed. As I treated his cuts and the bruises, he held onto my arm tightly.

"I-m sor-ry Dia-chi..." he stuttered out.

"Don't be sorry you didn't do anything wrong." I said, finishing cleaning and patching everything up.

"But I must have..." he sobbed and stuttered, falling into my chest. I slowly rubbed Hinata's back as he cried in my chest, shaking ever so slightly in my arms, soon falling asleep in my arms. I didn't know what to say all I knew was it had to be something to do with what Suga had asked me in the hall. 'Did he ask Hinata if he liked me back? Did he say yes?!' I sat there a long while, holding him in my arms. He felt so small and warm in my arms. It was really nice.

"Mmm- I-I-m So-rr-y Sug-a..." 'Huh is he awake? no, he's dreaming?' his voice was mumbled and soft.

"b-ut I l-ike Hi-m..." 'who do you like? is... that me?'
