Falling for Sam

“She will never know” I hear as I’m walking towards my room, I stop dead in my tracks around the corner.

“Kate we can’t, I want to but I just can’t” I hear my boyfriend Jason whisper. What the hell is going on in there?

“Just this once” she says as I turn around the corner a bit to see what’s going on and I see some young girl maybe a couple of years younger pushing up against Jason.

“Just this once” Jason says pushing his lips against her pulling her closer to him as they fall on the bed, and running out of the house.

As I was running out Jason heard me.

 “Beth, WAIT” I hear Jason calling behind me but I don’t stop.

 I keep running until I reach my grandparents, I hope he knows how much he has hurt me, I ran into my room locking the door behind me and curling myself up into a ball on my bed crying.

2 years later

I moved out into the city and start university doing a nurses course I’ve been pretty good since I left my home town away from everyone who hurt me. I stop at the café to grab a coffee, the guy at the register seems so familiar but I just can’t quiet put my foot on it.

“Decaf latte” I ask the man at the register as his eyeing me up and down

 “um yer sure” he says looking very confused

 when I had a good look at him he kind of looked like my ex who cheated on me two years ago, wait a second CRAP, I look at his name badge and it says “Jason” I need to get out of here now a fast.

“here you go one decaf latte” he says smiling brightly “thanks” I say quickly chucking the money on the bench and running out.

Jason’s POV

I hear the bell into door ding I look and see a very beautiful and attractive women is properly my age

“Decaf Latte” she asks oh man her voice is great and it sounds so familiar “um yer sure” I say as I snap myself out of my thoughts.

 I walk away to make her coffee still watching her wonder why she is so familiar hold on Beth, it’s Beth I start to smile.

I’ve been waiting 2 years to see her again, so she moved into the city I turned around with a big smile on face trying to act normal.

 “her you go one decaf latte” I say as she looks really shocked.

 “Thanks” she says running out before I had a chance to talk to her.

Beth’s POV

That was close I can’t believe this I moved here to get away from him and here he is in my favourite coffee shop working, Oh god I hope I don’t ever run in to him again.

I walk into UNI an hour later going into my class I have 2 more years of training and then I’m done I can finally become a nurse.

One classes were finished I went to the cafeteria to get some lunch, I walk over to grab a try and when I went to pick up one another had touched mine I turned and saw Jason smiling brightly again staring at me.

“Oh sorry, you have that one” I say quickly grabbing one and running over to grab my food and running outside to sit under a tree.

“Is this seat taken” I look up see Jason god doesn’t he get the hint

“U..Um” I stutter

“Great then you don’t mind me sitting here” he says with a big grin on his face.

“Im Jason” he holds out his hand. Well he obviously doesn’t know who I am.

“Beth” I say shaking his hand.

“Lovely day out” he says.

“Uh yer it is” I say trying to act normal

“So Beth where are you from” Jason asks, shit

“I um I got to go” I say getting up and walking away as he grabs my wrist turning me around and leaning into me.

“I know you remember me Beth” he whispers in my ear breathing down my neck sending shivers down my body

“I..u..um what do y..you want anyway j..jason” I stutter trying to breath

“when you left me I wanted to apologize for everything Beth and I knew you went to the city but I never expected to find you after 2 years of searching all I want is a fresh start” Jason says looking sad but im not letting him off that easy.

“NO, Jason my life has be perfectly find until I had to run into you” I yell pulling away leaving

I turn around a see a crushed look in his face and then it turns into anger as he runs towards

“What do I have to do to make it up to you” he says in an angry voice

“Leave” I say walking out of the building and realising what I said was a bit harsh but he put me through a year of hurt and crying all night.

I when I finally get home I plunk myself on the couch and let sleep take over

10minutes of sleep and the phone rings god can’t I have a break for just once

“Hello” I answer

“Beth” I hear Jason’s voice on the other end

“What do you want” I groan

“Please, can we start over I’ve changed and I regret everything I did” he says in a sad voice

“What, did you only regret it when you got caught, ha I bet if I never of got caught you wouldn’t of given a shit about it” I say in my smartass voice

“Beth, please” he says

“NO, you know what Jason FUCK YOU” I scream in the phone and hang up he doesn’t deserve a fresh start because I don’t trust him and I’m not going out with him to cheat on me AGAIN.
