𝐊𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐚 𝐒𝐮𝐬 | ᵃᵖᵖˡʸᶠᶦᶜ

ᴅᴀʏ 𝟷

In a world where space travel is accessible to anyone and everyone, 12  astronauts were chosen by the school and company ASTRA Coalition.  Today was the day the 12 fated astronauts were to meet for the first time.

The first to arrive at the Spaceport is Lee Koeun. She is the oldest of the group and also the co-captain of the crew. She walks up to the project Manager manager with a coffee that she picked up on the way there.

"Oh great, you're the first one. You can put your bags over there," the Project Manager smiles, pointing at a spot, and then shows her where to go, "Now head over to that room over there to wait and meet the other crew members."

Koeun smiles and bows slightly. "Thank you so much!" she says and leaves her bags, heading off to the room previously addressed.

The manager stands and waits and soon another two crewmates show up. Kieran Hwang, followed closely by Harlow Jackson.

"Sorry, are we late? I found them by themselves. I guess they were lost or something?" Kieran exhaled.

"Anyways, where do we put our things?" he asks, tilting his head.

"Ah yes you can put your bags over there then go meet your crewmates in there, but we're still waiting for more," the manager tells the two.

They both nod and do as told, then heading back into the room.

The manager marks the two down and waits for a bit to see three more crewmates. Kim Yeonha and Deshawn Williams were being dragged by Song Narae through the Spaceport.

"Since we're crewmates and friends, we get to help each other, right? So, I'm helping you two!" Narae says.

Deshawn just groans in annoyance knowing he shouldn't have told her what he was there for when they were on the bus to the centre.

Yeonha rips her hand away from Narae's surprisingly strong grip. "Anyways, the three of us are here for the Astra mission to planet Bulmara," she says.

The manager nods, "You guys are in the right area. Just put your bags over there, then head over to that room where you'll find the other crew members that have just arrived."

Yeonha nods, "Right, thank you!" she says, putting her bag down and heading over to the room.

Yeonha went to go talk to people since being the captain of the group, she would have to know everyone.

Narae and Deshawn follow behind, Narae practically skipping with joy into the room.

The next crewmate, Ji Wonhyuk, came with an attitude already hissing around him when it was only the first day. The manager gives him a smile to receive a roll of his eyes in return.

"Just tell me where to go.  I'm not here to make friends with you," he says with his hands stuffed inside his pockets.

The manager just nods, telling him where to put his bags and where to find the room.

Wonhyuk curtly nods in return and leaves without another word. He puts his bags down, heading over to the room.

Soon after Wonhyuk left, two of the other members were walking up to the manager, already talking and laughing among each other.

Kairi Takahashi and Jang Minseok both walk up in a fit of giggles because of a joke Minseok had cracked.

The two not being able to speak from how hard they were laughing, the Manager speaks, "Put your bags over there and join your crewmates in that room."

Kairi nods and tries to take a deep breath to stop laughing. "O-okay," they say and try to stop laughing, only to laugh harder as they head into the room together.

Soon enough the last three, Jung Yikyung, Mesha Bewaye, and Jang Jin-woo walk over.

Yikyung was speaking to the other two during the whole walk there. "I'm so excited to go on this trip; it's going to be so much fun and we're going to make so many friends!" he says.

Mesha nods. "Yeah, so much fun," she says, not sounding as excited as the male.

Jin-woo just nods, hated that they had to be dragged into this but just stayed with the two since they didn't really want to be alone.

Upon spotting the three, the manager welcomes them, "You are the last of the crew. You can just put your bags over there and join the rest of the crew members who are waiting for you in that room."

The three nod and head into the room.

There was only one more hour until they were able to board the ship. The members soon start to talk and socialize with each other, some not as much as the others.

While the crewmates meet and talk amongst themselves, Wonhyuk notices Harlow alone by themselves, not talking to anyone.

He takes this chance to try and talk to them himself. "Why are you so awkward and quiet?" Wonhyuk asks rudely as he pulls up a chair next to them and just looks over at them.

Harlow just stayed quiet for a few moments before answering. "I..I don't know, I guess I'm not the best at making friends, I guess-" they say as they rub their arm anxiously because of Wonhyunks intimidating presence.

"Well, how about you be my acquaintance? I'll help you get a higher rank in this company. This trip is just a test after all. But you have to be my watchdog. I don't want anyone on this crew to be able to surpass us and do better than us," he says.

Harlow stops and thinks about the deal, but since they didn't have anything else to do or agree on, they nod their head, emitting a small, "Sure," not daring to look Wonhyuk in the eyes.

Wonhyuk smirks at the answer,
                               "Perfect."
