Kevin POV-
Walking through the doors of the hotel where the reception was being held I could already smell the sweet aroma of the cake that was going to be served. I turned to Patricia to ask her if she wanted to go to the back room and look at the cake, but when I turned I saw Trisha's eyes wrinkled up with concern as she looked down at a little piece of paper in her hand. God wrinkles are just so cute on a woman. I thought to myself before quickly stopping myself. I can't get too distracted. I need to know what's on that paper. I cleared my throat to let her know I was watching her. As soon as she heard this her face turned pale and she tried to hide the paper behind her back. "aw poopy plum don't be shy," I coaxed gently, "let kev kev see the paper".
"Oh don't worry it's just a receipt kevin" she responded sounding a bit upset, she shoved the paper into her small, white little purse and reached out to again incase my hand in hers. She led me down the stairs and to the marvelous cake that we had so carefully picked out every detail of six months ago. From the beef jerky in the center to the hello kitty action figures on top it was everything we could have ever dreamed of. We didn't have to much time to admire the masterpiece though because we were soon rushed off into the dining hall where our Maid of Honor and Best Man are about to recite their speeches. As we headed up the stairs I heard the beginning of the first speech starting to be told."Patricia DaBooka Zango has been my best friend ever since I could remember" the maid of honor, Trish's BFF Tramley Turnkukle shouts, "She is my friend because she is so stupid that it makes me look like a genius, and geniuses are cool." I looked over at Patricia to see her eyes overflowing with happy tears at the loving words of her best friend. As Tramley hands off the microphone to the best man, my brother Joe, I start to prepare myself for the speech that I know will make me overly emotional. "My big brother kevin"
he starts out, "is not my favorite brother, in fact, he's not even my second favorite" he continued as i trembled at the sound of his touching words, "tbh I wasn't even going to show up today but my mom made me so here I am". He finished the speech by singing 'Safe and Sound' by Taylor Swift and I knew I had picked the right best man. Patricia and I headed over to our seats at the main table and I rushed over to pull out her chair for her. Soon the waiters were bustling around, hurriedly trying to serve all of the meals to our 150 guests. I noticed that Patricia was starting to get a bit impatient for her food to come so I pulled a sharpie out of my pocket and hastily drew a tic-tac-toe board on the white silk table cloth with the thick, black ink. Just as I was about to place my winning 'X' marking 3 diagonally we saw our food being rushed over. "So sorry for the wait" exclaimed a gruff voice. A voice that seemed oddly familiar. I quickly raised my head to see Keith the limo driver, decked out in the same outfit as the rest of the waiters from head to toe, placing Patricia's food down in front of her. I watched on as she looked up at him and my mouth dropped open in astonishment as I saw him wink at her before he turned to walk away.A/N- Sorry for the wait on this chapter but it is finally here. This is kinda just a filler chapter as I get the plot moving but don't worry, Keith will become a main character VERY soon (;

Steph
