From that strange meeting, a week passed quickly in which Bokuto and Akaashi hadn't stopped looking at each other, especially Bokuto had never taken his eyes off the raven boy with gunmetal blue eyes. The other vampires hadn't made much progress either: Iwaizumi continued to use his charm only to annoy Oikawa, but he never tried to talk to him; Kuroo, on the other hand, kept looking at Kenma and kept increasing his desire for him, as he used his charm to surround himself with girls. As for the two younger vampires, Tsukishima and Kageyama, the two of them had managed to get close to Yamaguchi and Hinata, but only because they had a project in pairs to do and they had been paired like that.

In addition, two boys had joined Akaashi and Bokuto's class: the first boy is another of Bokuto's best friends, Daichi, a vampire of Spanish origin and a distant cousin of Iwaizumi, but despite this, the two don't get along very well. The other newcomer is Bokuto's and his family's worst enemy, Sakusa, a noble vampire of Italian descent who, when he lived in his father's court, had managed to befriend Kageyama, but no one knows anything about how their relationships faded from day to day.

Akaashi was already immersed in his usual thoughts, despite the fact that the bell rang to indicate to all students the start of the lunch break. He didn't even realize that someone had approached him and was talking to him until he heard a word that made his ears prick up. – Who are you thinking of, 'Kaashi? – Bokuto's voice, now too familiar to Akaashi's ears, brought him back down to earth. – Hello to you too, Bokuto – replied the raven, keeping a serious expression as usual.

Kenma approached the two boys, keeping his gaze fixed on Akaashi's figure and, with a simple gesture of his hand and without uttering a word, the pudding head signaled him to get up from his chair and follow him towards the cafeteria since they had to meet up with their other friends. For his part, Akaashi didn't continue the conversation with the gray/black-haired boy and, in silence, he got up from his chair and left the classroom followed by Kenma, throwing one last look at Bokuto who, in the meantime, had pouted and clenched his hands in two fists, before being joined by Kageyama, who put a hand on his shoulder.

– Kō! – exclaimed the newcomer, who took a step back as soon as he noticed his friend's red eyes. Bokuto, as soon as he realized the presence of a quite frightened Kageyama, calmed down almost immediately, indirectly apologizing to him. – What is it, Tobio? – asked the major, running his hands through his hair and taking a deep breath.

– They sent me to look for you, since it's lunchtime and we're all already at the table – so Kageyama spoke, putting his hands in the pockets of his uniform jacket and directing his gaze towards the door of the classroom. Bokuto tilted his head to the side, then his eyes widened and he spoke again. – Did you leave Tetsu and Kei together? – he asked quickly, while the minor vampire chuckled, shaking his head.

The two vampires then walked together towards the exit of the classroom, while Kageyama rolled his eyes before giving an actual answer to his friend's question. – No, Tetsu will be with some girl – the raven began to say, and immediately afterward he spoke again. – At the table there are only Kei, Hajime, Daichi, and a gray-haired boy, I think his name is Sugawara or something like that –.

Bokuto's golden eyes lit up when he realized that if Sugawara was at their table, then Akaashi would be there too, being the two great friends. Millions of questions started filling Bokuto's head and Kageyama could predict them all, so much so that he spoke before the gray/black-haired boy started asking all those questions. – Kō, don't ask me about anything that's going through your head. I don't know what he's doing there, but I think Daichi invited him –.

– Ugh, okay Tobio, I'm not asking you anything – the major vampire surrendered almost immediately, then he crossed his arms over his muscular chest and remained silent, while with his head he tried to find answers to all those questions. Bokuto found himself thinking about how Daichi managed to get so close to Sugawara, despite the brown-haired boy having arrived a few days in that college: he didn't want to admit it, but Bokuto was feeling envious of his best friend because he was trying to get close to Akaashi, but without succeeding.
