Chapter 6: Protected (Mary x Yumeko)

Yumeko was in the bathroom washing her hands when Midari walked in, Yumeko chose to ignore Midari and continued to wash her hands.

"So, you're doing it with blondie huh?" exclaimed Midari, Yumeko smiled. "That's none of your business" replied Yumeko, getting a napkin and drying her hands. "Well, if you are actually with her then it is, because she doesn't deserve you." said Midari, it was clear she still wasn't over Yumeko. Yumeko let out a soft chuckle and turned to Midari, putting on a warm smile and putting her hands behind her back. "Who said you deserved me? I don't even see you as a human!" Yumeko exclaimed, letting out a giggle, her expression went from cute and happy to angry and cruel. "Touch her and you won't have another eye" Yumeko said, she went back to smiling and gave a small wave as she left the bathroom, Midari just stared off and watched Yumeko leave.

"Hey Yume!" Mary was walking down the hallway and saw Yumeko, she smiled and waved as she went up to Yumeko. "Hello Mary!" replied Yume, she hugged Mary and kissed Mary's cheek, Mary hugged back and pat Yumeko's head. "Wanna go to the pool later?" Questioned Mary as Midari walked out of the bathroom and away from them, "Sure, I haven't been in a while.." replied Mary, not noticing Midari. 

"Great!" exclaimed Yumeko, she gave a warm smile and pat Mary's head. The bell rang and they went back to class.
