Taron's POV:

We all woke up around 6:00 and silently cleaned up then headed out of the library trying not to cause too much raucous. We headed out toward the spice museum because 'Jackson knew it'? Don't ask me how to just go along with it. I've learned to just go along with things Jackson says over the years. If you don't, normally things go badly, sort of. When we got there it was like everything was in slow motion. I kid you not when i tell you it took them around 20 seconds just to sit down. It was so crazy and i was just about ready to head out when Sarah said that everyone in slow motion was....good?

"Why is that exactly?" i asked confusedly

" Then we can get whatever we need and get out without any obstacles." Almost exactly as Sarah said that a knife whisked past us and hit the wall.

"Ummm did you guys do that?" Jackson asked even though the answer was super obvious.

" Scadder and don't make any noise. Stay hidden until I say so alright?" Jackson says while taking us behind the shelves in the deepest corner.

" what are those......things? I guess?" I asked quietly while Jackson was finishing something out of his bag and Sarah was making sure no one or thing could see us.

" They're just regular people, or chefs but they're under Zamiras spell so they're most likely going to try and kill us but we should be fine." Jackson said calmly.

" Okay that's great, just great, first I have to go on a quest with you nincompoops then I almost get killed. Could this day get any better?" Sarah asks sarcastically.

We all stay huddled up in a corner while the crazy chefs search around for us.

" i don't know how much longer i can take this. We need to go out there and fight." Sarah says trying to still be quiet but make a point.

She turns to jackson and takes the bags real quick.

" Yeah a please and thank you would've been nice." Jackson grumbles.

" Jckson would now be a good time to explain what those necklaces and earrings were?" Sarah asks.

" Yes, yes the necklace! Okay who wants the necklace and who wants the earrings?"

" Ooh i want the earrings!" i say smiling, " It'll look good in my rock band"

" For the thousandth time you are not starting a rock band Taron!" Sarah then takes the necklace while Taron puts on the earrings.

" Alright it's game time" Jackson says with a smirk on his face.

Sarah's POV:

Jackson explains what each piece of jewelry does and let me tell you, it's awesome!

Each one of my beads represents a power I can use. I asked what the moon design was but Jackson said he would tell us later. It's like he's scared of it almost.

"Okay Sarah, Taron and I will go around and gather the crazy chefs. Once there in one spot take the grey bead and smash it on the floor near them okay?" Jackson says explaining the pan

" Okay let's do this and get out of here." Taron says with a grin on his face.

I watch as Taron and Jackson go around tieing up chefs and telling them to bring them over to the corner so no one sees. I don't exactly know what the bead does but i guess it's about time to find out. I walk toward them, throw the bead on the floor, run back to Taron and Jackson and.... nothing. "Wait, nothing?" Jackson says confused.

"Was something supposed to happen, or like, was this the whole show?" Taron asks not to help at all.

" Okay umm Sarah go toward the shelves and grab a book. Then hit the bead with the book and run back to us. Okay?"

" Um okay then" I say practically shaking.

I grabbed a book and slowly walked to the bead. I took the book and smacked the bead. I ran and went over to Taron and Jackson and the room filled with a greyish blue gas.

" Quick everyone, hold your breath and run out. DON'T let the gas get out of the room." Jackon said while we all evacuated out of the library.

By the time we got out it had been about 30 seconds and we all were panting for air. We headed out all with the same questions in mind. 'Why were their chefs in a library'? It was a weird question to say out loud but it filled our minds with curiosity.
