Chapter 1

We're almost there okay stop whining!" Jack said. "Looks like it's his time of the month again" Ariana whispered to me loudly. Only two more hours till we get to Pine And Cross Boarding School I repeated to myself.
Traveling with my brother Jack and my sister Ariana sucked They never would shut up! "Shut up Ariana and listen to your lame ass music" Jack sneered.

"Oh no you just not just say that!" Ariana said angry "STOP IT! Your driving me crazy just please for two hours be quiet!!! I yelled. I have been traveling for eight hours straight with them it's the worst. You see just because we are mortals does not mean that siblings are loving Angels.Ariana goes to parties a lot that is the reason we got kicked out of our other school. Also because I stole some expensive earrings for Ariana's birthday. We got left on this earth with NOTHING we went to orphanages, foster homes, more boarding schools than you ever could imagine.

So we stole a lot we basically know all the skills to stealing. "OMG this school has a lake near by!" Ariana squeaked with excitement. "You could not even be quiet for twenty minutes!" I yelled. "What can I say I got bored" Ariana said as she flipped threw a magazine. "What's so interesting about a lake? It's October" Jack asked annoyed. "Hello! Skinny dipping!" Ariana burst out.

"Ew gross" I said disguised oh yeah Ariana is kinda a whore too it's sad enough I'm the virgin of every group I have been in. "Hey I bet one hundred bucks that you will lose your virginity by the end of this school year" Ariana said. "Your on!" I said there is no way I will have sex I promised myself not In till marriage that is if I ever get married.I don't need love in this world I need to survive that's not much help with these two idiots.

There is not much mortals in the world and why would I marry a human ugh there so stupid. "Can we please get of this sex subject!" Jack begged he does not like to talk about sex I don't now why he's like a nine year old boy. "Fine whatever" Ariana said as she filed her nails. "There is going to be insane parties at this new school!" Ariana said exited.
"Anything can we talk about anything else, than this conversation" Jake said annoyed. "Why? You aren't apart of this conversation" I asked. "Well we are in this same car" Ariana confessed. "Fine you made your point" I said bored. "There is also going to be a music and art group" Ariana said. "Really!?!" I yelled excitedly art and music and P.E are the only thing I'm good at,

"Yeah" Ariana said bored I started to buzz with excitement only two schools I went to had art and music. "There's also a chess club you should try out for that jake" Ariana teased. "Oh shut up I'm trying out for sports, that will get the ladies" Jake said coolly. "Really? You hate sports" I asked. Even tho Jake is attractive to girls he's a really big geek. He has so much muscle in him but he sucks at sports.

"Yeah I have been practicing swimming" Jake said impressed with himself me and Ariana burst into laughter. "What?" Jake said hurt we kept on laughing when Jake was little he tried out for soccer long story short he had to get ten stitches. "Shut up Anna!" Jake yelled angry well at least jake was trying to be cool this year.

"Sorry it's just funny" I said still laughing. "Yeah you sure you want to kill yourself trying out for sports?" Ariana questioned. "That's it for the next hour and a Half we are all going to be quiet" Jake said still mad. I got kind of bored reading sometimes makes me car sick. I practiced lifting an object because my sibling and I are different we have this power we are what u call Un mortals. Ariana is called a Eludite she can stop time I now crazy right but it sure helps with everything. She can stop humans but she can't stop Un mortals but only if they are close to her.

I'm called a Teala I can make things float in thin air with my mind. The only problem is with being a Teala when you make things float it takes away energy. Sonder is when you can hear other people's thoughts it's really cool but no one I know is a Sonder. Healer is what Jack is he can heal people but again it takes away his energy. I know crazy names rights. It was about 12:00 in the morning driving at night always is cool. I always go deep into thoughts when I'm in a car at night. Ariana fell asleep her legs where on me as she was stretched out in the car. I just hope she does not kick my face again. Ok while I'm bored out of my mind let me tell you my past. Pretend that a imaginary harp is playing. Ok it all started with these two mortals who were crazy in love and so that is when my brother was born jack. When they noticed jack was a healer they were shocked. Other mortals-people would kill to have a healer to keep them young forever. So as another year passed my parents had Ariana was born. They were trying to keep a low profile and Jack was only one year old. So after that people started to wonder where they went.

They thought they where hiding something which they were. But as they started to question why my parents were all of a sudden loners. A really important thing was missing I think it was a stone or something like that.

Just a really important thing so they questioned my parents. So after that I was born yay. It turns out the stone had some precious power and they were looking for it frantically. So they questioned my father if he stole it. So then since he denied that he took the stone they beat my father to death. So since my mother did not now what to do she left four year old Jack three year old Ariana and six week old me at an orphanage.

The only thing my mom left me and only me was a necklace that had her wedding ring on it. So we grew up living the thug life stealing and stuff like that. Jack having to work double shifts at his work just to buy us stuff. Jack is originally 21 years old and he will be working at the school I don't know why he does not just go to college.
I'm guessing that he does not want to be away from us. I know tragic story right? Did I just make you tear up yeah I did. I'm not really the best at telling stories.

I rubbed my eyes gosh Im tired. I tried to get comfy there is really no way to be comfortable in a car. But I guess I was either to tired or I found a comfy spot I just fell asleep.
Anna we're here" Ariana said poking me I fell asleep about twenty minutes after Jake had his hissy fit.

I yawned and grabbed my stuff It took a little bit for my eyes to adjust to see the school. "Wow" I said the place was huge! It was like a mini Hogwarts. We entered the place was Halloween styled it was like entering a fancy hotel a girl came rushing towards us. "Hi! My name is Katie you must me Anna Tess" she said and gave me a hardy hand shake. "Uh ya" I said confused who the heck is up at two in the morning just to introduce them selves?.

Well I'm here to take you to your dorm" Katie said in her stupid perky American accent. "Ok?" I said still confused about every thing they aren't even making me go threw a stack of paper work weird. We went threw this long hallway ugh my legs are killing me I want to sleep About five minutes later we stopped. "Here is your key and you also have a roommate just to let you now" Katie said and handed me a key.

I went in a girl was sitting at her desk working on her laptop. "Hello you must be Anna" she said she had blond hair with blue eyes she wore pyjama bottoms on and a see threw tank top. "I don't now if I must" I said and flopped my bag on the bed. "Yeah, yeah I'm Emily" she introduced herself in her perky accent. "Is there a closet I could put my stuff?" I said tired.

"Of course!" She opened a HUGE closet full of clothes shoes purses stuff like that. "Wow" I said amazed I never saw a closet this big before. "Do you have a lot of clothes?" Emily asked me making a space in her closet for my stuff. "No I'm poor" I said here's a tip about me I don't really give a shit about what people think of me. What?!?! Emily gasped I hate it when people think you must be poor if you don't have a lot of clothes. "Thank god you have me as your roommate!" She said. "Oh I don't need anymore clothes" I said and unzipped my bag and pulled out a sweater.

"Oh my gosh your clothes are social suicide!" She said and took all my clothes out and threw it in the garbage. "Hey! I said and pulled my clothes out of the garbage can. "No roommate of mine is going to look terrible she pulled out some clothes. "There go change" she said and handed me some clothes. I went into the bathroom with out a word, weird usually no body gives me anything I looked at the clothes. Oh my gosh she expects me to where this?!? There was a belly top that said I do not care with matching pyjama bottoms.

tried it on I looked in the mirror I look ridiculous! I came out of the washroom. "You look awesome!" Emily said she was looking at my stuff she saw a knife. "Why do you have a knife?!? Emily said shocked.

Here's the thing humans like to use our powers for like bad stuff. Like say if I was healer humans would track me down and kidnap me. They would have very sick people come and pay a LOT of money to be healed. I know it kind of sounds like the Disney movie tangled but it's true.That is why most healers aren't alive. So here's the reason I have knifes people would try and kidnap me and do stuff. I also don't know why others don't have weapons like hello there is a lot of dangerous people in this world.

She took a necklace out of my bag. "Don't touch that!" I hissed and tried to grab the necklace. Wow you have good taste in jewellery" Emily said I snatched the necklace out of her hands and put on the necklace. "Do you have any blankets and pillows?" I asked Emily. "Yeah" she said and gave me some purple blankets and pillows. "Okay good night" I said and turned of the light.
