Mr. Miyagi stops in front of Clara's house after she gave him the address. The girl thanks him, wishes him a good night and leaves the car. She opens the front door and is greeted with darkness. Apparently everyone in the house is already asleep.
Clara closes the front door as quietly as possible, and walks to the stairs. The moon from outside being the only thing bringing light in to the dark house. Clara walks as quietly as the stairs it allow in to her room, closing the door behind her and taking a deep breath. All the stress from the past hours, is exhausting her.
She changes into her pyjamas and lies down in bed. Just as she is about to close her eyes a soft knock makes her look into the direction of her door. "Clara? Are you awake?" Bobby speaks quietly. Clara sighs and thinks about if she should answer.
The girl gets up, turns on the lap on her bedside table, and taps to her door. Bobby looks at her sadly and then ashamed to the ground."Hey..." He whispers the word so quiet that Clara almost missed it. "Hi." Sighs the girl.
He looks at her silently asking to enter. Clara opens the door a bit farther to let her brother inside. He walks inside not meeting her eyes, instead he looks to the ground. Bobby sits down on the edge of her bed. Clara closes the door quietly and looks at her brother, who's fiddling with his fingers, his locked on them. Clara sighs once again sadly before walking up to sit next to him on her bed.
Bobby gulps. "I... I just want to say, that I am sorry, I really am. I don't even know what exactly to say, except that I feel so bad, and so incredibly stupid. I can't believe that we really did beat up a defenceless boy, just because he poured water over Johnny's head. I mean he didn't even stand a chance against us, he was defenceless, he doesn't know how to fight. We were like a bunch of cowards, beating up some kid who can't do anything against it." Bobby doesn't look up from his hands and continues his rambing.
"It's just that he is always aggravating us, he always is the one who goes one step to far and then there is this anger, that hist Johnny the strongest. And we,... I just want to stand up for my friend. I don't want to let him fight his battles alone, you know. I know that we went to far today, and I can't tell you how sorry I am. I tried to stop them when I realised that, I really did. But they were all so angry. That guy was just filling up an full bottle making us all explode, and I... I don't know. I just want you to know that I feel so bad and I am so so sorry." Bobby ends his monologue and sighs. He keeps fiddling with his fingers, so Clara puts her hand on top of his, making him look at her. The small lamp that she turned on make her see the tears forming in his eyes.
The girl hates seeing her twin like that. He is usually the happy, caring boy, but now he just seems utterly sad. "I don't want to loose you just because of some shitty stuff we did." He admits. Clara's eyes soften at her brother, she never could stay mad at him even if she tried. He was her twin brother after all. Clara sighs and leans her head on his shoulder. The room is engulfed in silence that Clara uses to think.
He did try to stop the boy's when he realised that it was going to far. But he also didn't try to stop them from the beginning on. Clara tries to look at the situation from as many angles as possible and comes the conclusion to forgive him. She would earlier or later anyways, and it's hard for her to stay away from him. Despise forgiving him, she wouldn't do that to the other boys, they never stopped Johnny from hitting him, they aggravated him more so.
"I forgive you." Bobby lets out an small laugh. A smile now present on his lips as be puts his head on top of her, which is still resting on his shoulder. "Thank you." He sighs.
"What about the boy's? What about Johnny? He feels bad about it, I know it." Now it is Clara's time to sigh.
"I need time. I can't forgive them just like that. I just can't what they did was so wrong, and instead of trying to stop Johnny they aggravated him. And Johnny, I know that he has some problems with Daniel, but that doesn't excuse his behaviour tonight. Just give me time." Bobby nods understanding and lifts his head, Clara follows."I get it. I tell the boy to leave you be for now." Clara smiles at her brother. "Thank you, Bobby." The boy smiles at her sadly and gets up. "I should probably head back to my own room an go to sleep. So, see you tomorrow." Bobby walks backwards to the door while talking to her. Clara smiles at her brother nodding, before she gets up. "Bobby, wait. I think we should hug it out?" Bobby raises an eyebrow smiling, before walking back to her.
He opens his arms and puts them around her waist, while Clara puts hers around his neck. Both of them smile like idiots, before they let go of each other. "It's good that we talked about it now, otherwise I probably wouldn't have been able to get any sleep." Admits the boy. Clara laughs and nods at him. "I probably would have been able to, because I am really tired." Bobby laughs now too.
"Good to know where I stand by you. Right behind your beauty sleep."Clara shrugs. "You know how it works, how do you think I look so good?" Bobby's smile widen. It feels good for both of them, that they made up so quickly. "I should probably try that out. So see your tomorrow, princess." He teases. Clara smiles as he leaves the door. She slips back under her covers, turns the light on and falls asleep quickly.
