PERCY POV

Well I might as well come clean about where I was for six months. I was on a quest for a reason which would benefit the godly world, both gods and the demigods.

I was on a quest from all the gods for my request as they were testing me as to prove me worthy to for the gods to accept such a huge favour. I proposed to the gods that if they banish the ancient laws I would accept personal favours and tasks from each of the gods and complete some quests which were considered implausible and were thought to be paradoxes.

Many gods gave me near impossible tasks to prove my worth. Ares gave me a quest to retrieve his fabled sword Blood's Bane. That sword was considered to be a legend and the various stories said that that sword had the ability to absorb it's enemy's blood and grow stronger from it.

I found the sword in Lydia which is on the border of present day Turkey. Well I did get the sword but not after finding the first Aethiopian Drakon coiled around it as it is believed that Aethiopian Drakons had evolved from Lydians making them second oldest so it made sense, uh Annabeth had started to rub off on me. Though it did Not help in defeating the bloody thing.

Anyways, the sword was heart-wrenching as it had a long slender blade which was made from a crimson metal which looked like it was absorbing all possible light from the atmosphere but also reflected some giving it a look that made it feel that it was emanating light. Its grip was other-worldly as it felt as it was non existent giving sword fighting a whole different meaning. I mean if your sword feels like it does not have weight then think about the speed boosts one can get. Strangely, the sword felt like it was alive and Real friendly towards me like I was some long lost best friend.

Well think about how lost I felt when I went to Olympus's throne room and Ares took the sword from me and it burnt his hand and fell to the floor and embedding itself in the polished marble. all the gods tried to pick it up themselves and had their hands resemble a burger patty to be healed by Hestia who was look really cute in her eight year old form- wait what?

after all those failed attempts I went to pull it out and keep it in its old sheath brought forth by Ares and feel my luck when it came out like a warm knife inside butter and a harsh red light lit the sword and a ball of pulsating crimson light came through the sword and entered me marking me its master. Yay for me. and just to let you know, That sword was Ares's symbol of power during the time when the gods were in their prime. Huh that's in Rhyme. Wait, so was that ,..ARGH dam ADHD!

Well moving on, Many gods gave me quests to prove it that I was worthy even though my request and Idea was for their own benefit. I was tasked to find the Drops of destiny which gave any being control over their fates for a given time, I found them in the cave of Trophonius. I had to find the Aglet of clouds for Zeus, Hermes gave me an easy one as I had to find *cough*steal*ahem* the most expensive shoes in the mortal world, I did that with some mist. Well Hermes was always a sneaker head.

LINE BREAK________________________________________________________________________________________________________-/-

Well some strange incidents happened while I was on it. I was on a break as I had just come back after retrieving Hades' keys of the dead which had a couple of them missing from its original seven.
