Prologue 2: The Commander and the Azure class battleship (updated)

With Germany's militarization comes the need for men, with it, comes the need for leadership. To have an army with no leader, no matter how strong that army is, will always go wrong. To be a commander is not an easy task, but to be a commander like Gisborough, it is even harder.

Usually they would not accept any Germans as high-ranking officers if they did not have pure German blood, more worst if the blood of the enemies, but for Gisborough they made an exception due to his father. 

Gisborough is a unique commander. Rising up the ranks to commander in a mere 5 years after he joined, even though he was still very young, in fact he is the youngest to be a navy commander in the Kriegsmarine. Although he was skilled, he is only respected among his men and not respected among the higher ups as he is only seen as a tool in commanding their ships to defeat their enemy.

"It seems like I have little time left" Forenheim said to his son, while laying in the hospital bed

"It seems so. So what have you wanted to discuss with me?" Gisborough replied

"I want you to continue this" Forenheim said while handing him a blueprint

"It is my greatest work, although the blueprint isn't done, I want you to complete this, and command this ship......."

Nazi Germany 1944, WW2. Location: unknown

"Sir, the Battleship has been built. All of its armaments are almost operational and is able to sail soon" said by a engineer 

"I see.. hmm. So this is my fathers great project. Of which he poured everything he had. The one that will 'rule the waves and lead the kriegsmarine and bring pride and glory to our family' like my father said." said by no other than Gisborough

"Sir, isn't it suppose to be a 'she', like all out battleships are called?" said by a officer

"Nein, it is called a 'he' due to its size and power being stronger than all.... or that's what my father said" said by Gisborough

"I see, I understand sir. But Who would command this ship, and what is it's name? We've yet to hear it from you." said by the same officer.

"As for that, I would command this ship like my father had requested. It will be called..... 'Jaëger'...... as it is his greatest work, and because this ship is capable to hunt and destroy all of ships in the ocean." (FYI Jaëger is German for hunter)

"Alright sir. Shall we do one last check on the battleship?" said by another engineer.

"Please do" Gisborough said

Ship description: The strongest battleship of the Azure class (and the one and only ship there), and the main battleship of the project code named: Iron and Blood. A secret ship only revealed to a small portion of the Navy. With designs from the H-class, but stronger. And With top speeds reaching 40 knots, and a strong ship bow that can be used to ram ships (because why the heck not). It is made out of the steel that was taken from the Soviet Union when they invaded them, and guns 'borrowed' from different nations and modified to fit their needs. (Btw its design is a grey and dark blue battleship, that's why it's called the Azure class)
